Buying a car from a Infiniti Car Dealer
Finally made a deal at the end of November and wanted to see what people think: 2012 Infiniti G37 Coupe Journey w/ Nav, Prem, Ill Kickplates, Cargo net msrp: $45230 gross cap: 42332 39 mos, 10k miles Also got windows tinted and Elite Maintenance, which covers all maintenance for 45K miles. $924 OTD $459.55/mo inc all taxes (in CA) I'm in LA. Been driving the car a month and love it!!
Hi. The best I got out of the dealer in round 1 of my first leasing experience here in NY was $355 for 39 mos. on the 2012 Infiniti G37x AWD with navi, sport and premium packages. with $5000 down upon signing. Where should I go from there…the selling price on paper was 42,895 and they didn't wanna budge from there
natebbmsu, couple of things I wanna point out that came to my mind and hopefully will answer your question about this lease offer. 1. The price you have negotiated is not a bad price but its not a great price either. The Invoice price for the same car is $40226. So try emailing a couple of different dealer & see if they'll match the offered price. 2. The $895 Freight fee, is a huge ripoff and I would recommend walking away from any dealership that is charging you the freight fee.(assuming this is not the destination fee. which I'm guessing is not judging from your post), That saving alone will take you to under invoice price range. 3. The monthly payment of $518 seems correct, just going strictly off your provided numbers I get $529.69/MO here in California with a tax rate of %8.75. Before tax it should be $487.07 anywhere in the country(Again doing the math using the numbers provided). 4. The MF looks amazing and translates to %1.512 APR which is a great number. 5. I would ask Car Man or a different dealer about the residual value of %68 just to be sure. To be honest with you I haven't seen the 24 month lease numbers so I don't know how accurate your dealer is. 6. Like you said the price is a little high and there is a little wiggle room. But if you can get the $38,249 the truecar price you mentioned your payment would be $378.70/MO before tax. Good luck& Let me know how it goes :)
Hi All, Looking at a 2012 G37x coupe w/ premium pkg in NY (we get a lot of snow up here!) For this car, I'm showing the following: MSRP: 45930 Invoice: 42006 Using one of the buying services (USAA), they are offering a buy price at 40,411! Sounds pretty good to me. I am aware of $1k factory-to-dealer money this month as well. I'm leaning towards leasing the car. Using this board and another source, I'm showing a MF of 0.001 and residual of 64% on this car (12k mi, 39 mos). Using the USAA selling price and the above numbers, my payment comes out to right around $400 before any trade, etc. I guess my question is this: how good of a "selling" price is the 40,411. Looks awesome to me without much effort, but is it reasonable to think I could negotiate this any lower? I'm not averse to shopping the deal around, but already being below invoice (and below the 1% holdback, by my calcuations) I'm not sure how much better I should expect to do. Also, it would be great on this board if people deliniated clearly between the coupes and sedans. I get so excited on some of these deals ... until I realize it's a sedan. :-) Thanks for any insight.
Hi Car_man, could you show me the MF and Residuals of 4WD QX56 for both 2011 and 2012 Nov or Dec (if known)? Lease for 39 mos at 10k miles/yr. Many thanks for your help. mlx
