2005 FX35 Touring Lease Deal - Opinions?: by riemu7 on Thu Jan 05 02:56:37 PST 2006; Just need some advice if this is a good lease deal: 2005 FX35 Touring, Black/Willow MSRP $40,650 Negotiated to 18,000 miles/year, 39 months, $2500 down, $457.02/month. We didn't discuss any of the particulars in the formula (money factor, residual, etc.) Just wondering what others' thought. It seems reasonable, however I think I can tweak some of the numbers (slightly more miles, less monthly payment). I put a lot of miles on my cars living in Detroit.

Detroit area 2005 G35 experience: by g35-or-bmw on Sat Feb 26 13:18:52 PST 2005; I went to Suburban Infiniti in Novi, MI this past Thursday and was given the following numbers for a 39 month lease with 15k miles. Money Factor: .0029 and Residual:59%. I saw in another forum that the money factor is supposed to be .00179 and Residual:60%. I know that Suburban is the only Infiniti dealer in the metro Detroit area, but they shouldn't try to gouge consumers. I guess I am going to call the next closest dealer (which is 2 hours away)

2005 G35x in Michigan: by siege on Wed Dec 01 11:36:38 PST 2004; I'm looking to purchase the 2005 G35x AWD in the Detroit, MI area. Only one dealer nearby, the nearest two are over 100 miles away (of which one is out of state). I've been trying to negotiate via e-mail. The best offer so far is 3% off MSRP. The car is in such demand that I'm not even sure what I should be offering. I'm figuring out that the invoice should be about $33,735 (includes the $1000 dealer holdback I've heard about). Any suggestions as to a fair price to offer and realistic expectations would be appreciated. Does anyone have experience with the dealerships here in the Detroit area? Price with custom order and paying cash: by jgq1 on Wed Feb 11 19:58:29 PST 2004; I've searched on the Infiniti website the inventory of all the dealerships within 150 mile of where I live (MI) That includes Chicago and Detroit and I could not find the FX I want (FX35 AWD,Beryllium + sport + Tech + Chrome). It looks like I will have to custom order it from the manufacturer through the dealer. My question is that: Will it be reasonable to be firm on the price and ask for it to be at invoice? I read that when custom ordering, hold back is pure profit for the dealer. Also, I'm thinking of paying cash, will that be an advantage on the price? will I be able to get it for less than invoice? Is it wishful thinking? :)
