Infinity M35x Premium (with journey, technology and everything)
by splashbm on Sat Feb 11 21:50:54 PST 2006
Thanks to everyone on this forum, I decided to get the infinity M35x mostly because of info on this forum. I chose the M over the GS300 because the M blows the GS away! Plus I'm a tech guy, so gadgets is a huge plus. I got the M35x with premium with XM option, which includes the journey, technology - pretty much everything they have. So far, I LOVE it! The intelli cruise is sweet and bluetooth is my favorite feature. I'm located in Lansing, MI but drove to the nearest dealer to me, which is at Grand Rapids, MI. Their service was EXCELLENT. I will do business with them again, anytime. Buying experience was great. Here is the breakdown of the deal...It doesn't sound as sweet as some of the deals I've seen other people on this forum talk about, but can someone comment...if this is an okay, good or bad deal? Color: Black outside, Bourburn interior (which by the way is a sweet combo - i think). It had 1,200 miles on it already - they said someone ordered it before but didn't want it anymore. Sticker price: $54,700 TMV from Edmunds: $53,873 (they actually showed this to me) Invoice (according to them): $49,600 Final price (after negotiation): 51,633 Lease: Term: 39 months Miles: 15,000 per year Residual: 59% Lease factor: 0.00195 Upfront payment: $2,000 Final monthly price (which includes taxes): $720.32 How did I come out? It looks like it came out about $2,000 over invoice...I see a lot of folks here got as good as $1,000 over invoice. They claim they have always been able to do as much as $3,000 over invoice...and that they were giving me a big break...they also said that was the only premium in the area with the color combo that I liked.
Picked up my new '05 G35x today :)
by shmoopy on Sat Apr 09 18:06:48 PDT 2005
FYI: Took delivery today on my new '05 G35x (premium "C", nav, etc. -- brilliant silver w/ stone interior). So far everything looks great. Am happy with the stereo, despite some of the concerns others have raised. Sure, I've heard better, but it is still quite nice, and well worth the money. I purchased through Pfeiffer Infiniti of Grand Rapids, MI. The entire process was a pleasure, no games, no pressure... just straightforward negotiation and a fair result. If the after-purchase service is as good as the sales process, I'll be as pleased as punch. I would recommend them without hesitation. I appreciate all the insight shared on this board. Best wishes to all! shmoopy :)
2005 G35x, premium, trunk mat
by podochigae on Thu Dec 23 13:55:29 PST 2004
Just took home a 2005 G35x, premium, trunk mat and splash guards. I wanted to post my experience, since this discussion was very helpful. I'm from Chicago, but checked all over for the best price. All prices are before taxes & doc fees.       Chicago dealership: MSRP - $1250 for wood package & prem,     Another Chicago dealer: MSRP - $1000     Costco program: $34,850     Quirk, MA: MSRP - $500     Ramsey, NJ: MRSP - $1500 = $35,100     Herb Chambers, MA: $34,200     Grubbs, TX: $34,658     Pfeiffer, MI:       I ended up going to Pfeiffer, in Grand Rapids. Grubbs didn't sell that many AWDs, so I had to wait until February 2005 to get one. Herb didn't have my color in stock (white/stone), and also wasn't sure how I could drive back to Illinois (MA doesn't issue transit tags). I was going to go with Costco program when someone recommended Pfeiffer in Grand Rapids, MI. I gave them a call, gave my price, and they actually beat my price. They also found my color combination without a problem.       Just came back from the dealership yesterday - pleasant buying experience. The dealer asked me not to post the actual price. But, if you're looking for a 2005 G35, give them a call! I highly recommend them. You can check the previous posts about this dealership, too.       This car is a blast to drive!
Toledo area

I live just north of you in Saline, MI. We have a dealer in Novi (Suburban Infiniti), but I am picking my car up in Grand Rapids tomorrow-(Pfeiffer Infiniti) dealt with them over the internet/phone and was able to negotiate the best price... Suburban would not match.
MI / OH / IN G35 Deals?
by nicdmx on Tue Jan 21 15:08:48 PST 2003
Anyone gotten any good deals in and around Michigan on a G35? I rarely see the car on the streets around here, probably due to the fact that few purchase rear wheel drive cars due to the snowy winters. I'm planning on purchasing one this spring and am hoping dealers in Grand Rapids or the Detroit area will offer me a good deal, but haven't seen anything posted here about prices payed in the area. Seems like considering the low demand in the area that a good deal could probably be found.
