Started Negotiation: by pass1over on Thu Jun 05 09:05:06 PDT 2008; So I have been browsing this and a few other forums trying to figure out the numbers game and what a go0d deal is. I am lo0king and trying to make a deal on a '08 G37 6MT Blue Slate with Premium Package. From what I've seen on this forum, most people are settling on a purchase price either right at or less than $200 above Invoice Price. The dealership that has the car I want is telling me the minimum offer they would accept is $500 over invoice + tax, title, fees. I am in Lexington, KY and the dealership is in Cincinatti, OH. Should I be able to talk them down more off that price? I was told by a dealership here that the 6MTs are kinda hard to move since most people want an automatic Infiniti. Is this true? If it is, I should be able to work that leverage in my favor, no? Thanks in advance.
