Infiniti G35x: by jherbst on Mon Aug 04 06:27:36 PDT 2008; I live in Florida but wanted a x model since my family all live north. Besides, the rain here in FL makes the x a much more stable car on rain slick roads. I purchased my Infiniti G35x on March 31 '08. With only one dealer in the county (Infiniti of Melbourne) it was a bit tough. But since I was willing to purchase a similar car from a dealer in Louisville, KY (Sam Swope Infiniti -- great selection!) they finally came very close to what I would pay. Here was the bottom line: G35x Premium package Leather Navigation Rosewood trim Cargo Net Color Matched Mud Flaps Trunk Mat Destination Tax, Title, Tag (6% sales tax) Out the door total $38,609. Plus they shipped it in from North Carolina at no additional charge. I'm not sure it was the best deal but I was very satisfied with the process.

Infiniti's were still made in Japan but not even sold there. In the US luxury brands are more important.

I'm in Louisville and I'm about to contact dealerships. I'm also willing to travel to get the right price but it's good to hear I may not have to.
