If you need a spreadsheet with dual columns to compare different factors shoot me an email (in my profile). I found this indispensable when negotiating my lease.

You should be paying well below invoice for an '04 at this time.

I am shopping for a Mar-Apr purchase and the G35 is in the mix. If I buy a G35, it will be a 2005 6MT. I have been watching dealer inventories through the Infiniti website, and this car which did not exist anywhere in the midwest one month ago is coming into the market strongly now. The initial wave of pent up demand will allow dealers to get MSRP. Many dealers have a lot of '04 stock still on their lots and are discounting heavily (no doubt with Infiniti's support) to move them off the lots. The improvements in the '05 are worth the wait and extra upfront money. Plus, if you factor in a year's depreciation, the price differential doesn't mean much. However, if you plan on owning the car for 10 years (until there is no trade value) the depreciation issue doesn't matter. So, what's your situation? Is it a stretch to get to the buy price of an '05? Buy the '04. Will you only keep the car 3-4 years? Buy the '05. Is it important for you to have the best and latest G? Buy the '05.

Anyone bought a G35 in the Indianapolis area lately? Not much competition.
Still looking for 6MT

Scanning dealer inventory via the Infiniti website....none in Indy, Chicago, Milwaukee, Grand Rapids, Ft. Wayne, Dayton, Cincinnati, Louisville or points inbetween. Yet, Infiniti has a two page ad in the Feb. C&D just for the 6MT sedan. What gives? Where is the product they are creating demand for? I'm going to buy something else if they don't get some inventory to the states.

Neo, I am also 6'-4", 230 lbs but early in my car search (targeting Mar 1 purchase). I have sat in the car but not driven it yet. If you buy a G35 sedan, please give detailed review of your ergonomics.
