Heres the email that PhairPhair sent out: I just received this email from Orland Park, IL Infiniti (south of Chicago): All 2007 G35 's are 1000.00 over invoice for a limited time. Stop in ask for a Sherri of a Manager . Infiniti of Orland Park 708-403-4700 A week a go this dealership and others I contacted in Chicago told me they would not match a $1000 off sticker offer I received from a Detroit dealer. Looks like someone needs to make numbers...and use spellcheck. I'll forward the email to anyone who wants to use it as a "written offer" to get a deal from their local dealer. Is this still a valid offer phairphair? Thanks you gusy have been quite helpful

I just purchased a 2006 FX 35 with touring/tech/and hands free pkg for $100 under invoice ($46260 MSRP). My friends at Infiniti of orland park, IL treated me very well. Would highly recommend them. Is anyone one doing better price wise?
My M45 Deal
by airgator on Thu Mar 30 16:09:21 PST 2006
Forgive me ahead of time for such a long post but I wanted to let everyone know about how great Infiniti of Orland Park IL. was. I started researching these cars a year ago and slowly narrowed my choices from the Infiniti M45, Acura RL, Lexus GS 430 and BMW5, down to the Lexus and the M45. It has been a wonderful educational experience reading about each of these cars. I am convinced you can't really go too wrong with any of them, but never the less after the test drives there was no longer a doubt the M ROCKS!! I put my deposit down today on an M45 Non-Sport. My local dealership in Indianapolis was not very helpful and didn't want to deal. We only have two dealerships in Indiana so competition doesn't exactly motivate these people. having said that the sales guys on the floor were great, but I said so long and contacted the Internet Manager in Orland Park, IL. The experience was totally the opposite. She was fantastic to work with. I had a price, credit approval and lease offer in three hours by fax and phone with zero negotiating required. Here was the deal out of the box: M45 (non sport)Umbria Grey/Bourbon Premium Pkg. with XM Spoiler Mud Guards MSRP $58,700 Invoice $53,334 Final price $53,400 36 month lease 0 down $712.38 includes doc, title, license fee and Indiana 6% sales tax. Pre-tax payment $672.06 no security deposit drive away price $712.38 That is the good news the bad news is that since the car was ordered they will only lock in the price not the leasing terms. I can get out of the deal and recover my deposit if the terms go way out of sight or the car is unacceptable upon delivery. I think it looks like a great deal, except for waiting two months and some uncertainty about the market. Any way I can't wait for summer. Best Regards Airgator
G35x or 6speed 2WD?
by carnag on Sun Aug 21 10:54:12 PDT 2005
I was looking for some input from anyone. I'm looking at leasing either the G35x or the 6speed manual sedan 2WD. I live in Chicago so I have to deal with winters here so the x appeals to me. Can anyone tell me how well it handles in snow, or foul weather? I have a 3 series which does pretty good with winter tires, but AWD is always better in snow. Also, does anyone know of a good dealer in the south, south/west suburbs? I'm closest to Infiniti of Orland Park. Has anyone gotten near invoice pricing on either of these cars? Which would offer a better lease deal? There seem to be a lot more G35x's at most dealers, so I'm thinking I could get a better price on it than the 2WD version. Thanks for any help!

I have been looking for a G35 in Chicago, and the pricing for a 2004 G35 is all over the place for what new ones remain. The dealership experience also varies from no response (see above post) to response (Orland Park) with an outrageous price about a week after the initial request (not very timely). The approach to trade-in value is equally daunting with about a $5,000 difference on a $18,000 trade amongst the dealerships. Nothing has changed with respect to the sales experience and attempting to squeeze as much as possible out of the buyer. Good luck to all!
