Dont lease, BUY a G35!!!
by mtmikey on Sun Aug 31 17:29:57 PDT 2008
I have leased vehicles for years, everything from Fords to Volvos to my last two, an FX35 and now a G35. I have to tell you, if you are considering leasing a G, buy it instead. You will love this car and want to own it, not be renting it. I hate the idea that in another year plus, I will have to give it back!! :)

I also was looking for a 2007 M35.....$35k for an M35 with the options you are looking for sounds about right. Gwinnett in Atlanta seemed to have some of the lowest prices in the Southeast. Be careful to NOT buy a service loaner car - those cars are a bit more prone to longer term quality issues. Most 07 M35's are previous service loaner cars. At the end of the day, I ended up getting a brand new 09 Maxima as the gas mileage was better, the body style was new, and a number of the key features found in the M35 are also present in the Maxima. This is particularly the case when comparing the Premium Package cars. Two exceptions to that are the dynamic cruise and lane departure warning systems. Those are unique to M35.

The $2,000 Loyality can be used for a lease or a purchase. I leased an 0 M35 sport / tech/ advanced tech three days ago. The dealer applied the 2,000 to reduce the cap cost and I walked out paying down only the first month and the taxes on the 2000 rebate. For reference my monthly note is 625.00 The increase you are experiencing is all about the 61% residual ( down from 65% a few years back). Good Luck!
A Little Help Please
by ram60 on Fri May 23 18:29:46 PDT 2008
GHStudio, Et Al I just came out of a 24 mth lease on an 06 M45 sport tech. like many folks I am now finding even an M35 is leasing about $100.00 higher than my previous deal ( The M45 was $499.99 base and $34.93 tax). I have an offer on the table for the following: M35 Sport / Tech MSRP $50,105.00 Sales Price ( supposedly invoice) $45,714.00 Residual % 61 M.F. .00028 Term 24 mth Miles / yr 15 K Even with 2K in Loyality cap reduction , 2 MSD's and assuming for the moment $595 bank fee and $498 Doc Fee I end up with: New payment 08 M35 $596.29 and $41.75 tx for a total payment of $638.24 Am I doing the math correctly? If so is the residual decrease the primary factor in the payment increase? Thanks in advance for the help/ Cheers,
MSD Feedback and Question
by ram60 on Wed May 21 20:14:04 PDT 2008
All, I have seen questions about the Multiple Security Deposit and whether it is returned if a car is totaled. The answer is yes. To make a long story short, I cracked up an 06 M45 sport Tech in the final two months of a 24 mth lease. The Insuranced totaled it and I am just finished dealing with IFS. While a painful, unpleasent process, they did return the 2 security deposits that I had used to buy down the Money Factor. ( ghstudio - I thought of you and thanked you out loud for keeping me from buying down the cap cost to get a lower monthly payment) Question: Do we have the money factor and Residual value for 24, 36,39 mths on the 08 M35 and M45 sport sedans? I looked but don't seem to find them. Thanks for your help.... This is a great forum Cheers,
G37 Lease Offer - Thoughts??
by jeremyw on Tue May 06 18:20:51 PDT 2008
Here is the offer I have on the table from a dealer in Atlanta for G37 coupe Journey+Premium package. I currently have two payments left on a my '06 M35 Sport = $1200 so they are a part of this deal as well. Here it is... 39 month lease w/ 18,000 miles per year = $515/month (including taxes) $1750 due at signing - includes 1st payment, doc fee, bank fee, and GA tag/lemon law fee. I've crunched the numbers and it looks like a pretty good deal. Thinking of pulling the trigger this week.
