If you are not going to lease, the sedan is a much better buy - everything is about the same for thousands less and easier to find. On a lease, the coupe is close to the same price due to its higher residual. I ended up with a coupe because I am leasing and it is easier to find a 6mt coupe than a sedan equipped like I wanted. "Easy" being relative since they had to get the car from GA, the closest sedan was FL or VA IIRC . Dennis

Selling Price: by syrah on Wed Apr 02 11:58:35 PDT 2008; Just got a quote from a dealer in Sarasota, FL on a EX with premium, wood trim and splash guards. I'm new to this style research and wanted to know if I need to ask any additional info. thanks in advance....on the fence between this model and an RDX..... Msrp is $38,475.00. Selling price is $34,267.00 and out the door is $36,986.86

Re: G35x Lease [jlo913]: by dwynne on Fri Mar 14 08:22:10 PDT 2008; I don't think that is the dealer, around here almost every G has the splash/net/mat stuff in them and they are all port installed options and listed on the MSRP window sticker. My opinion there are two reasons: to make extra money for Infiniti by making us take these unwanted (but cheap to produce) options. A dealer ordered me a car w/o these options and they still installed them at the port and increased the invoice and MSRP to account for them. The second reason is so they can show the "final assembly point" on the window sticker to be Jacksonville, FL or wherever your port is. The car is Japanese and made completely in Japan, but by putting SOMETHING on every car at the port they can proclaim the "final assembly point" is in the US. I would think that a price of around invoice for the car, destination, and any dealer/doc fees would be a nice price. This is after the $500 customer cash is taken off (meaning the dealer is making $500 plus hold back). Anything you can get under invoice for the car/dest/fee just makes the deal sweeter. I would be surprised if you could actually drive off in a new G for $500 under invoice and that price included the fees and destination - but you never know until you try. Dennis

The M35X (no Sport Pkg available because 4WD) add a Technology pkg (is it worth it to go to adavanced Tech pkg for better Bose stereo? Without the X, the 2WD Advanced Tech pkg includes the lane departure feature if I read it right. Any thoughts on the advanced tech pkg?

Lease I Was Offered: by bondguy1 on Sun Mar 09 19:08:33 PDT 2008; I was offered a 2008 M35 (rear wheel drive, not 4WD) with Sport Package. It also had the Technoloty package. Car also had NAV system. Pretty much loaded. Giving the dealer $1,000 for a 39 month lease with 15K miles/year, price per month they quoted was $670 plus tax. That sounded kind of high to me. What should this car lease for with that little money down and 15K miles/year?
