Re: Price difference between states [topgun7] by 774 on Sun Mar 13 08:24:53 PDT 2011

I read your post and and thought your idea of supply and demand was most likely the right answer. According to Edmunds the inventory levels for all Inifinity vehicles with in a fifty mile radius of Savanah, Ga is 26 vehicles, none of which are the M37 model. The number of infinity vehicles with in a fifty mile radius of Boca Raton, Fl is 517 vehicles and 42 of those vehicles are the M37 model The supply and demand answer in this case has nothing to do with the price difference between states. I know South East Toyota is the distributator for a five state area and they control all sales in this five state area. The dealers in this area are charged at least a 500.00 dollar admistrative fee by (SET)on every vehicle that is sold in this five state area. The Sequoia I purchased in New Jersey did not have this 500 dollar fee as the dealership bought the vehicle directly from Toyota Motor Sales USA . The cost of the vehicle to the dealer in New Jersey was less than any Fl dealer which explains the 500.00 dollar price difference. The 2,200 dollar cost difference between Fla Inifiniti dealers and Georgia Inifiniti dealers on the exact same model can not be explained by supply and demand.

Re: Opinions!! [nrwayne] by masterc on Tue Apr 25 20:51:10 PDT 2006

OK, I thought I understood, but now I'm really confused. I have been dealing with a "broker / fleet sales guy" and am "this close" to the following deal: M35; Journey Package; XM; Handsfree; 36 months/30K miles; $591.00, plus 6% tax (=$626.46); and $900 out of pocket (incl 1st month and tag. NO OTHER COSTS, PERIOD. He said this was based upon a 5% discount off of MSRP. I thought this was a very good deal this afternoon, but now I'm uncertain - is it or can I do much better?? Thanks for the help!!

Want to lease a 2006 FX35 South Florida by mylan on Mon Mar 20 08:45:24 PST 2006

Looking at the '06 FX35 to lease. Have leased a LExus twice now and am ready for a change. Anyone have any advice for me? I was given a monthly lease rate of $621 including taxes on 12,000 miles - 0 down except the first month etc....think that is pretty high! This quote was through the internet. The dealer was approximately the same. HELP - don't want another Lexus!

Price I Paid for 06 G35 Sedan by bocatrip on Mon Nov 14 07:20:48 PST 2005

I just left a deposit on a 06 G35 Sedan, Auto, Premium C and Nav. They are the only local dealer who is able to obtain the car I want, Ivory/Stone Premium and Nav.MSRP was $37,370 and I am paying $35,183 exactly $1,000 over invoice. The car is not yet in and I am getting a good price on my 02 325I which will give me an additional $1,000 for sales tax savings. I live in Boca Raton Fl and most dealers don't want to discount too much on the 06s because of all the 05s they still have.If I wait a few more months, I'm sure I might save some more on the G but my BMW will also drop in price. I tried for $500 over invoice but no luck. What do you guys think?

Price after negotiation. G35 coupe 03-05 by nolo1975 on Sat Feb 26 12:03:09 PST 2005

I've just begun shopping for an Infiniti G35 coupe. To my knowledge, the 2003-2005 G35 coupes are not much different, aside from the center console. The most important feature to me is the exterior, which I believe is the same. Please provide me with me with the price you paid for your G35 coupe after negotiation. I'm interested in both new and pre-owned/certified cars. Thank you.
