So Infiniti has been sitting on the 2009 factory production for the U.S. market for ten months just so they can dump them into dealer inventory a month before most 2010 models hit and haven't changed anything, save an increase in the sticker price by $2K. Hmmm, okay, let me look this "new" model over. I've just downloaded the e-brochure from Infiniti's website. The distinctive Luxury Elite textured leather upgrade is gone. Certainly, a bad move. Moving the Bose out of the Premium Package and tying it to the navigation looks like another loser move. The noise generating roof rack is now standard equipment. The leather is standard now...did anyone actually find a cloth interior on the lot last year? So we've got a thoroughly de-contented '09 with a substantial price increase. Wow! I think these changes are so bass ackward that they might finally get those last straggling 2008's off the lot after all. This sounds like a good way to ensure the demise of a very cool vehicle. Moreover, I don't see that ^^^ strategy helping the street cred of a near moribund model at all. How about carving out a couple inches of rear leg room, a nice "value pack" on the base model and a six-speed manual transmission option to emphasize the sportiness of this sporty utility instead? Perhaps, it is time for Nissan to punt here.

so far out of all the dealerships, ray catena has offered me the 2nd highest price for a G37X Coupe, specifically $1,291 above invoice. he also has a $249 documentation fee and reg/plate fee. bennett infiniti in allentown is the highest priced at $2k above invoice - no thank you. porter infiniti in newark, DE offered me $300 above invoice. not bad. im still waiting to hear back from five dealerships. i might have asked too early in the month so i might wait a week or two.

Want to thank everybody that takes time to post good info. Just leased for my wife her second G35x from Willis Auto Campus in Des Moines, Iowa. Emailed several times to Kortney Dye and was given the following lease deal. Premium package, splash and trunk org, msrp 38080,dealer discount 3500, 56% residual,mf was .00114,Paid upfront acq fee of 595 plus dealer doc of 195,monthly payment of 460.77 which included Nebraska tax. Lease is for 36 months and 12000 per year. Willis is a new Infiniti dealer and they are looking to build up a base of customers. Everybody there treated us great. If you are in the market for an Infiniti you might try them. I was glad we did. They saved us over 2 grand compared to our local dealer.

Well considering a 5 year loan for $40,000 at 2.9% is $715.00 w/no money down. And would be under $700 w/ $2000.00 down. I think you got hosed a little. If you purchaed the car instead of leasing it. You'de get a little money back if you sold it three years later.IMO. What happened with the H2? Bought from Dealer or private?

Happy Camry, I agree. Holdback is pure profit so why would anyone ignore it when negotiating a price? I tried to tell the forum earlier that determining Actual Dealer Cost, not just "invoice" is the way to proper starting point for negotiating your final offer, but it fell on deaf ears. When doing the remote bidding process ('fax or internet attack') ask for and get the dealer's final, out the door, bottom line price including any doc. prep and destination fees but excluding mandatory gov't taxes & fees (tax, title, license, registration, which are constant). That way they can't surprise you when you show up to sign. Tell them that if that's not the price on the paperwork, you'll walk. Obviously, the fax attack isn't very effective in one dealer towns--but even then you can still use it to bluff you're way into a good price. [The Des Moines Iowa Infinity fleet manager doesn't know that you don't want to drive to metro Chicago to get a better price. Call his bluff. ]
