That's right! I remember your "bring the kids and let 'em run wild" strategy!!! My wife and I loved that and we were thinking about trying it if we had issues. Thankfully we did not. I love your strategy though....it has brought several laughs to some of my co-workers :)
2009 FX 35 coming out

With the 2009 FX 35 coing out shortly, when will be a good time to lease a 2008 FX 35? You have to assume that since there is a body change, that there will be major year end incentives.
Re: Leasing 2008 Infiniti G35x. NEED AN ADVICE! PLEASE! [nazarenk]

Dear Nazarenk: Try Pepe Infiniti in White Plains, NY . I am a Costco Customer. I live in Westchester Co., NY and was referred to Pepe as an Executive Member of Costco. They treated me very well. I leased a 2007 G35X - Black/Stone, w/o Navi, Premium package, $2,400 OTD which included sales tax (about $1400), bank fee, a nd fist months payment. Pay $440/mo; 39 months, and they are a very repsonsive dealership. My initial contact was made via the WEB & used the Costco referral. I priced the deal at 5 different dealships: Manhasset, Massepequa, Manhattan, a Jersey Dealer and the one in Hartsford. My cousin is one of the main mechanics at Massapequa, even they couldn't beat the price. Did it at Month's end April 2007. Best bet is to wait for the last day or 2 of the month as Dealers want to make quotas. This forum does not allow me to relay the Internet sales person name. All I can sy is: it was a female.

You can find the invoice on Edmunds, KBB, and other places. I like to use carsdirect.com because it enforces the "rules" like you have to check the premium pack to get the nav pack, etc. The lease MF and residuals for Jan are posted here, probably 10-15 message above this one. You can also search for JAN in the search box. It depends on if your father's friend works for Nissan or not. Nissan employees can generate C codes for their friends. Plan D is for employees of partner companies and NOT for friends of employees of partner companies. So if he works for Nissan, you can get a code, if not then you can't. For Plan D the buyer/lessee would have to provide ID and proof on employment with the partner company, so that would not fly for you. As to the credit, you may have to get your father to co-sign your new lease for you. A 700 would probably put you just outside tier 1 for Nissan. They most likely use an auto enhanced score with no auto credit history your score may be really low. With a co-signer you can get the lease and once you pay it off with no lates you have no problem the next time getting the lease on your own. IFS would probably write you this time on your own, but the rate would be a lot higher I am afraid. What are you planning on doing with your current car? If it is worth more than the current lease buy out you can sell it to a dealer or trade it in and be done with. Otherwise you might as well keep driving it and worry about a new car closer to the end of the current lease. Dennis

None of your reasons are good for putting down money on that lease. If it is stolen or totaled, you will loose that money. Gap insurance is included the lease but will pay off (only to the lessor) the remainder of the lease payments and pay off if your insurance values the car at less than that amount. Gap insurance will not refund you any money. All you are doing by putting down that $5K is releaving the gap insurer of paying that amount to the finance co if the car is a total loss.
2007 G35X lease deal!!!
by ripmaster on Wed Jul 18 09:23:18 PDT 2007
I just leased a brand new 2007 Infiniti G35X AWD. It's basically the base car but has the $1,000 sunroof and cargo net as options here in Denver, CO. Liquid platinum, graphite/aluminum interior...MSRP as configured: $35,750.00 $995.00 down + first month ($379.00) + acquisition fee $595.00 + processing fee $100.00 = $379.00 for 39 months. I think this is a great deal...for anyone wanting the same numbers, refer to this ad and see if your dealer will match (mine did and even sweetened the deal!): http://nationwideinfiniti.com/Specials-PrintAd.aspx So far, I love the car. I brought a freind to the dealer and he leased one with like mine but added the Premium package, and only had to add another $1700.00 Dealer: www.infinitiofdenver.com
