Buying a car from a Infiniti Car Dealer
I called Infiniti of Riverside and told them if they would match the deal Skurny recieved at Infiniti of South Bay. The guy on the phone told me that Skurney was lying and that nobody in the country would sell below msrp. He also said that the sales rep was probably fired...I then told him that the GM is the one who made the sale. He promptly laughed at me. He just seemed to be real rude...like he knows he has the power and he couldnt care less about making a deal. Its kind of frustrating. Im happy for people who actually get great deals but it seems like all of the stars have to align for it to happen. I tried calling Tony Zieman at Infiniti of South Bay but he hasnt returned my call yet.
Yesterday, I purchased the M45 with the Premium package, trunk mat. Got the Liquid Platinum with the Burgundy interior. I am very pleased with the purchase. Reserached sedans in this segment for several months before deciding on the M. Paid $1,000 over invoice at Riverside Infiniti in Riverside, CA. Purchase process was pleasant but a little slow. By passed local Palm Springs Infiniti as they had little selection on hand. Hope this is helpful and now back to some spirited driving. Sam
I have 5 03FX35's at 5000$ off MSRP, they have premium package and thats it. Contact me if intrested. 2 Black Obsidian on Graphite models and 3 Brilliant Silver on Graphite models.
I ended up buying my G35 Coupe. Here are the specs: G35 Coupe - automatic Diamond Graphite / Graphite Leather -Premium Package -Performance Tire package - Trunk Mat - Splash Guards MSRP is $35,560 I paid $34,000 -- plus tax (7.75%), license, and misc fees (CA's tire tax fee $5, doc fee $45, etc.). Total was $36,963.49 after everything. Place bought: Discover Infiniti, in San Diego via their fleet/internet sales. I got that price relatively early on from Discovery after sending a quote request to them via Edmunds and CarsDirect - they asked what it would take to buy from them, I said a competitive price. Discovery offered $34,200 or something and I countered $34 flat. Discovery agreed, and said something like "it's an amazing price and you won't find anyone to match it." They were right. I called Infiniti dealers (and emailed them) from Oxnard to Riverside to Costa Mesa, Mission Viejo, South Bay, etc.. Most of them told me to buy it at that price, that they wouldn't match it. The closest was Hoehn in Carlsbad, with an offer of $34,245. So I bought it from Discovery for $34k. They say they are trying to move volume through the dealership. They actually had to ship the car in as a dealer trade from Tustin. It had 8 miles on it (came down on a flatbed). The whole signing process was relatively quick and efficient. Only bad part was a lowball on my trade-in, so I didn't trade in. Oh yeah - they could match, but not meaningfully beat, my 3.99% financing.
