by brucebruce on Thu Apr 13 01:05:45 PDT 2006
Hi! Everyone? I'm new here & have looked some of your conversations with m45 sport which really helped me. I'm in L.A. driving '06 bmw 530i sportpackage since april 2005 and I will send this car back to bmw with LEMON (more than 25 times visiting dealership for repair window, so many electric and break problems,,,,,,,,crazy isn't it?) My attorney has sent a letter to bmw usa last friday. and i'm waiting for the bmw send me the check On Last Sat test drove the nice looking m45 sport at glendale infiniti,Ca wow wow BMW !!!!!!!! Ultimate Driving Machine???????????????? ****Ultimate Driving Machine **** the BMW !!!!!! This is it!!! This M is my car!!! M45 sport was like a bullet. I'll have this super fast m45 sport this or next week. I can not wait to get the check from bmw but I have to. so I will test drive the same car again today. and The car i want is this. 2006 Infiniti M45 4dr Sport JOURNEY SPORT PKG REAR DECKLID SPOILER dealer have offer me this M45 Sport with Journey & Navigation packages spoiler can be added. Finally, my M35 is in the garage after 2 1/2 months of speaking to several dealers in the SF bay area, mostly by phone & email. Finding exact colors & equipment I wanted was not easy. But, Claudio at Infiniti of Serramonte came through for me, having to intercept a unit in the pipeline. Though it took about the expected month to arrive, Claudio handled my seemingly ‘infinite’ number of questions w/ patience, charm, & expertise. MSRP: $48,640. MY COST: $45,000 INVOICE $44,284 (as per Consumer Rpt. & as I recall Edmund’s was about the same, though CU indicated there is $1,154 “Dealer’s Holdback”--money from the manufacturer to pay for ~3 months floor plan, so if they sell a unit before then, they say, there is extra profit. I got several comparable offers from 2-3 dealers including Fairfield & Glendale. It helps knowing exactly what you want & will pay & when, no dinking around to waste their time. Consummating the deal by phone, fax or email before going in cuts the likelihood of any funny business when you go in. Your goose is really cooked if you’re not sure & go in w/ “The Wife” to get some numbers, hoping for a good deal--it’s clearly their ad. My car is the base model w/ Tech, Journey, Splash & full spare, etc. The latter I’m not sure was a good idea as it takes ~ 3 cu ft trunk space. I absolutely LOVE the awesome Bose, amazing! ...but those $20 audio DVDs!! After Claudio’s thorough explanation of the tech stuff, I can fairly comfortably get around the system after a couple hours practice.....some reading to do this weekend. Nav book 200 pgs. Main book 350 pages!!! It is largely intuitive for anyone who has spent any time at all w/ computers or cell phones. ....teaching my wife, now that’s a different story. I had looked at & driven numerous great cars: GS300, is350, RL, TL, and I especially wanted to like the BMW 330i (just too choppy, short on user friendly toys, loads of fun tho even w/ std suspension), BMW 530i (probably the best compromise of quiet/ride/handling -use of Active Steering the mags gripe about, I found immediately predictable & a joy. BUT--chintzy Naugahyde look/feel leather, lousy sound...then there’s the price & reliability...) Any one I could live w/, or my old car, so I wasn’t wed to the M being the only show in town...maybe made it easier to get the price I wanted, tho only $600 under their original phone offer. I would prefer a bit smoother ride & a bit quieter so the M35x or Sport wouldn’t have worked though perhaps even more fun to drive. It’s a great choice & hope to have it 10 yrs!?! HAPPY HUNTING & HAPPY MOTORING!
2005 Infiniti G35 Quote
by steamdiggs on Thu Apr 07 00:27:17 PDT 2005
I went to Glendale Infiniti yesterday and immediately asked for the Fleet or Internet Mgr.. I went at night when there is little foot traffic and this is the quote I got: 2005 G35 Sedan Diamond Graphite/Stone Premium package C Navigation Sunroof 18" Wheels The Works $34,385 + Tax + fees = $37,550 Out the Door I believe that's invoice. The Mgr. was very honest and said we have alot of these cars, and says he sells one a day and that volume for him is where it's at. Does anyone know if this is the best deal I could get? Glendale, CA By the way I test drove the car and it's rocked...

Methodca - I live in L.A. (more exactly in Canoga Park). Glendale Infiniti is located in Glendale, which is about 20 miles from my home. And sorry, I forgot to mention - I got automatic transmission with Tiptronic.

Moeronn - I have checked it (used LeaseGuide.com lease calculator). Looks like I got exactly the same monthly payment amount). I had only $550 bank charge. BTW, the formula to calculate lease monthly payments is different from one for loan payment calculation as far as I know. Anyway, I had fun :). I called Glendale Infiniti and said that Miller Infiniti offered me $505 for this car and asked if they could beat this price. Finally they agreed. Then I called Miller Infiniti and said that I was offered $490. Miller Infiniti said they could beat $490. Thousand Oaks Infiniti didn't want to talk prices over the phone. I called Glendale Infiniti again saying Miller Infiniti are willing to offer me less than $490. They don't like it, you know... :). That's how I started... so I think I saved a lot of time talking over the phone instead of coming to the dealership and trying to avoid leasing this car for $560/48/12000. I could have got slightly better deal. My credit score is 756, but I didn't qualify for some Wells Fargo "elite" lease program with lower money factor because it was less than 5 years long. I got 15K mile/month instead.
