Volkswagen of Orland Park
Took my daughter's Beetle in for over-heating, fix the water pump, timing belt and thermostat. Picked up car, on the way home that evening temp light came back on. Checked fluids and found reserve empty. Called next day, they said it could have been and air pocket if nothing is leaking, fill it and keep an eye on it as you drive it. The next day it completely over-heated, steam bellowing out, towed it in and they said it was engine damage due to over-heating (da!). The owner was very rude and wanted nothing to do with the possible over site. In litagation with BBB and States Att. The service department has had several of these complaints in past see reviews. The owner does not care about you once the sale is made, beware, other dealers want your business and will help, Joe Hoobyar (owner) will not!
I do not want you to have to go through what I am, learn from my mistake, you have been warned.
I was a good customer with them as they acknowledged until I became a problem, then did not want me anymore.
