Buyer beware and service repairs watch out! Took my daughter's Beetle in for over-heating problem. They replaced water pump, timing belt and thermostat ($1300, very expensive compared with other dealerships) and called said it was fixed. Drove it home and the temp light went on, I checked the fluids and it was empty. I filled it and checked for leaks and called VW. They said it could have formed an air pocket when filled, if not leaking drive and keep an eye on it. My daughter drove it to work on way home over-heated with steam everywhere. I towed it back to VW of Orland and they said it now has extensive engine damage! They now want $2000 to fix. Owner Joe Hoobyar was rude to me and wants nothing to do with his service dept. possible over site, even with the Better Business B. looking into it and the States Attny. Other dealerships I have dealt with in the area have been customer service driven, this one you have now been warned about BEWARE, I would not want you to go through what I am now going though (and my daughter).
