Pros:
close to where we live. It was only a 10 -15 minute drive to the Matteson Auto Mall from Frankfort.
Cons:
A big waste of time. Be prepared for the paper going back and forth to the Tower guy at least 3 x's.

My husband and I visited Sutton Mercury Saturday May10th, 2008 around 4:30 pm. No one came out to greet us as we walked the lot for 10 minutes. We knew what we were looking for and just went in to talk to a salesperson. No one was jumping out of their seats to come greet us at the door either. A new salesperson was the only one left to help us out. We told him right away that we were a Z plan customer and that my husband was an auto salesmanager for 10 years( he's finally out of that business). So we fiqured no messing with us let's just get the deal done. After a quick test drive and exchange of the general information the sales person went to the so called Tower (managers desk) and came back with their own version of the z plan. It was $100.00 more a month than what my husband( who remember worked in the business as a manager) had already figured out.We asked him to bring us back the Z plan paperwork and tell the manager to stop messing around. My husband put our figure down ( including taxes and plates and what the payment should be for 60 months with 0% interest) told the salesperson to give it to the manager and that's what we would buy the car for. Now we were not asking for anything more than what we are allowed for to buy the vehicle with the z plan. Down from the Tower comes Mr. F & I guy explaing that we were $100.00 a month off from his total. He stated that we have to pay the tax on the comission that the dealer gets for selling us this vehicle, etc... We should have purchased this 4 cyclindervehicle with cloth seats and not much more immenities other than moon & tune package for around $23,000.00 dollars out the door with tax & license. However the Tower guys price out the door was $27,900.00. Needless to say we walked out the door faster than he could say another word. I can honestly say I will NEVER go back to Sutton Ford/ Lincoln Mercury ever again. I don't blame the new sales person. I do blame the Tower man thinking he could try and pull one over on us.
