CUSTOMER SINCE 2007. READ THE ENTIRE REVIEW: Let me start by saying I am not a rookie at buying cars and at one point in my life was a car salesman. My first experience with Arlington Heights Ford was back in 2007 I purchased a new 2007 Ford Focus. I had a trade in and no one would give me excellent trade in value for it. Most dealers appraisal was around $9000. Tony Guido one of the owners stepped up and gave me $10,500 I wanted $11,000 but he made up the difference by selling me the Ford Focus for $500 under invoice plus all incentives and rebates! Wow I could not pass up the deal.. After that sale I serviced my car for regular maintenance at Arlington Heights Ford and never had a problem. However I do highly recommend to use Arlington Heights Ford Quick Lane for regular maintenance it is faster than the regular service desk. Well in June 2009 I totaled the 2007 Ford Focus and walked away from the accident without a scratch. I looked at several vehicles and did not think of Ford until I read a few reviews on the Ford Fusion. I gave my salesman Rich Jacobson a call test drove a 2009 Ford Fusion SE with a V6 I did all my research on Edmunds.com Cars.com KBB.com. I decided to purchase it and this time I dealt with John Guido Sr. the main owner of Arlington Heights Ford. Why these owners even bothered dealing with me directly was beyond me, I had never experienced an owner of a dealership being directly involved in a sale. He gave me a great deal and I bought the car. A few days later my dad wanted a Ford Fusion and guess what we bought it 2 brand new 2009 Ford Fusions in a week. Great cars great service great dealer. During the next couple years I serviced my Fusion at Arlington Heights Ford and at one point needed warranty repairs it went smooth with out a problem and I even received a loaner for a couple days. This May 2009 I traded in my 2009 Ford Fusion for a 2011 Ford Focus I dealt with John Jr he seems a little loopy at times but I guess being the owner son and responsible for such a huge dealership is not easy. Once again Arlington Heights Ford stepped up on the trade in value and price of the new car. Great small car I loved my 2011 Ford Focus but I had to trade it in because I had to replace an aging family vehicle that fit 6 people. I dealt with John Jr for a few days as I was really undecided on the new SUV but finally purchased a brand new Ford Expedition. I took delivery on a Saturday night after hours everyone had left except my salesman Rich Jacobson I did not notice until a few days later that the windshield had defects from the factory. Spoke with Tony Guido who made the effort to get it repaired with out replacing the windshield but it could not be repaired. Tony Guido said they would replace the windshield or to pick another Expedition...What? no way that is unheard of. Car dealerships in Illinois are notorious for not helping customers after the sale when a defect is found. Arlington Heights Ford gave me the option of returning the Expedition and getting a different one no questions asked. WOW!!! All I can say is that Arlington Heights Ford has earned my business for life from me and my family. Its a business and yes they have to make money on a sale or on your trade in. They have to keep the lights on pay their employees and make a profit. At this point I don't have a problem giving them a profit because I know they will be there for me if I need a good deal on a car if I need service or if I have a warranty issue. My advise is to give Arlington Heights Ford a chance to earn your business. Call Rich Jacobson my salesman or John JR the owner son [violative content deleted]. Yes I have purchased 5 brand new Fords from Arlington Heights Ford in 4 years and I plan on purchasing more from them in the future.
