Buying a car from a Hyundai Car Dealer
Freeman Hyundai in Irving, TX (Internet sales) will sell Sonatas & Santa Fes for Invoice - rebate - $400 (part of holdback).
Have you checked with Freeman Hyundai in Irving? Have read posts from others where they have gotten good deals and notice on their website that they have posted prices on GLS models.
You 2 guys should stop crying!!!...lol You both got fantastic deals that have the rest of us drooling! FWIW, the internet guy at Freeman in Irving offered me $19,261 for a 2006 LX w/o the sunroof/CD changer option. Based on your deal I figure that's at least $1600 too high. So much for the deals in north Texas... Had 1 salesman (not impressive at all) who told me no way are loaded LXs going for under $19000 after the rebate. He wouldn't even get near $20K - needless to say we walked and fast....He was one of those guys who said he had a "great deal" for us (needless to say his definition and mine were different) but only on that day!! Name of the dealer was Hyundai Auto Mall in Kyle, TX, just north of San Marcos on I-35.
Sounds similiar to the price that Freeman Hyundai in Irving offers, as they were selling the GLS for $15,388.00 which included the $2500.00 rebate and $500.00 for owner loyalty. Just goes to show how the market drives the price, here in San Antonio both Honda and Toyota dealers are more willing to make deals.
Bit off topic here but I went to their website and saw the price for a GLS of $15,888.00, sure beats the prices they are quoting here in San Antonio. Hopefully they don't try to tack on bogus fees like they try to do here. I may end up having to drive up to Irving for that price.
