Price paid for 2008 Limited FWD in Dallas/Ft Worth
by winter75 on Mon Sep 01 13:27:07 PDT 2008
My husband and I purchased a 2008 white Hyundai Santa Fe Limited with black interior (no navi or touring packages) for $22995 from Van Hyundai in Carrollton, TX today. We also traded in our high mileage 2000 Dodge Durango 4WD for $3000. Our trade-in value matched the amount listed on Edmunds web site. We emailed several dealerships early this morning and had 3 offers by 11am. Each dealer was willing to match the lowest offer. It all came down to how much we could get for our trade-in. We spent less than an hour at the dealership doing the paperwork. We got a loaner car for today and will pick up our new car tomorrow. The dealer had to trade with another dealership to get the car we wanted. I thought the salesman at the dealership was great. Thanks to this forum we saved several thousand dollars. Special thanks to hondamom6 for posting her experience. It was a big help knowing what someone local paid for their Santa Fe and internet car shopping was terrific! We have a baby and we would not have lasted through the typical car buying experience.

My friend just got the Sonata. 2009, 2.4liters, auto, popular pkg, pearl white(+$200), Tax rate is 6.25% For OTD $18500 she got the car at Freeman hyundai at Dallas, TX. Very nice guys(i recommend, Ed Smith he was really nice an old man) ODO meter shows just 3 miles. (2.5 for test drive at Factory, 0.5miles for fill up the gas LoL) maybe we can get bottom like.. to 18000, but stopped at 18500 with No hustle. We just tired to hustle with dealer(honda, toyota guys. hu~ they were tough and rude). Is it good price??? LOL (i know it is stupid question haha)

Hi All, Just bought a '07 Veracruz SE with leather upgrade package (leather, sunroof, upgraded stero, cross roof rail) for $24,760.00 plus tax & license. MSRP is $34,769, Invoice Price is $ 31,070. The car has 80 miles on it when drove off the lot. Sale price included $1,000 rebate in Dallas, TX. I saw they have 2 more cars on the lot. Anybody still looking for car can send me an e-mail at thtran500@yahoo.com and I will send you the address of the dealer. Here is how the tax break down: Sale tax : 6.25% of purchase price (in my case about $1500) Documentary fee: $50 Dealer inventory tax : $53.45 License, Transfer, Title & Reg Fees, Insp : $127.55 Total cost drive out the lot is $25,731.00
Reg:- Price on SE in Dallas / TX or NE.

How much should I be paying for a 2008 Sonata V6 SE on the road? I don't wish to add any extra options. BTW I'm ok to pick up the car in Omaha,NE or Dallas,TX...either location is ok with me. Thx

ok, so I waited until 9/5 for the new rebates and was disappointed. Hyundai must be offering the incentives to the dealers. I just go the first internet quote (2 more coming) Dallas,TX metroplex '07 SE 3.3L FWD I asked for the touring package (3rd row) I was told MSRP was 24,829 (which is darn close to Edmunds) Then I was told they will do 20,320 (1k rebate + 500 finance rebate) +TTL. Offer is good for 10 days. hoping to shave a little more off when I go in, but not sure what to expect happy hunting!
