Try Jim Hudson Hyundai in Columbia, SC on Greystone Blvd. I bought my Santa Fe Se from them for $21,900. This was prior to the Clunkers for Cash program, too. They are wonderful to work with. kp

Capitol Hyundai in Columbia, SC is offering another steal like the one I got earlier this month. Sonata GLS: $11,996 + tax/tags/title This price assumes you are eligible for all the rebates. If you're not active duty military, add $1000. If you don't already own a Hyundai, add another $500. That's still a very good deal. There's only one car on the lot advertised at this price, however, and it's a manual transmission. If it's not the color you want or if you want a car with automatic transmission, the dealer will try and steer you over to another Sonata at a normal (higher) price. So I guess it's another loss leader, but it's a great deal nonetheless if you don't mind rowing your own gears. :)

If you're looking for good service, I'd recommend Capitol Hyundai in Columbia, SC. They are competing against the other Hyundai dealer in town (Jim Hudson Hyundai), so occasionally they advertise a loss leader in the local paper to draw customers in. These loss leaders are usually base models with absolutely nothing added. And they are 5-speed manuals. There's only one of those on the lot at a time though and the sale doesn't come often. The Sonata I have now has 70 miles on it. If you're still interested in it, let me know.

Out the door with 2008 White Limited w/ ultimate for $3000 off current invoice, then add back 314 state taxes and 349 dealer "document fees". As part of the deal, I added at my cost the current replacement front shocks [P/N***-3L640} at $132 ea. this was stated to be the employee price for the part. Will replace mine since the mfg date on this car is prior to 20Oct2007, when the new version shocks started being used. Then maybe it will handle a bit more like the 2009 version. Will post on the results after the new parts are received. Car has truly lousy Michelin MVX4+ tires, (harsh, noisy, poor wet traction) otherwise, seems a fine machine. Anyone got a positive experience with a performance wet/snow/quiet tire for the 17 inch wheels? Next to spring for the non-emblem grill and the Grandeur led rear light bar.... Comfortable no-hassle buying experience with Capital Hyundai, Columbia SC.

Ebony Black with black leather, everything but navigation including carpeted floor and trunk mats, wheel locks, trunk organizer (the $200 aftermarket one, not the $90 stock / PIO one), Bluetooth installed when available. $31,590 (sticker + Bluetooth add-on), roughly $600 taxes & tags, etc. = $32,200 give or take a nickel (South Carolina has max tax = $300 for vehicle sales no matter what the price)... 3 miles on odometer before test-drive, 10.1 at delivery. Prepped, programmed and out the door for $27,800. ;) Overall excellent dealer experience, purchased through Internet sales manager at Jim Hudson Hyundai, Columbia, SC. I'm a happy camper...
