2008 Azera Limited/Ultimate purchased: by ratledge on Sat Jan 12 11:51:00 PST 2008; Ebony Black with black leather, everything but navigation including carpeted floor and trunk mats, wheel locks, trunk organizer (the $200 aftermarket one, not the $90 stock / PIO one), Bluetooth installed when available. $31,590 (sticker + Bluetooth add-on), roughly $600 taxes & tags, etc. = $32,200 give or take a nickel (South Carolina has max tax = $300 for vehicle sales no matter what the price)... 3 miles on odometer before test-drive, 10.1 at delivery. Prepped, programmed and out the door for $27,800. ;) Overall excellent dealer experience, purchased through Internet sales manager at Jim Hudson Hyundai, Columbia, SC. I'm a happy camper... :shades:

Ref Good dealGoodDealership: by pawleys on Wed Mar 22 13:16:33 PST 2006; The dealer in Myrtle Beach did not offer any incentives.Told him of some of the sale prices I saw in the other chat sire on this board.He had advertise $2660.00 off on an Azera in the local paper,when I mentioned that he stated that was on one particular Azera,I then got up and started to walk out,told him no games.He went to thew manager,came back stating they would give me the advertised discount.Agreed to price,the went to sign agreement,there was $299.00 handling fee.I said no,he asked if I would split it,said no ,walked outside ready to leave.He came out and said"damn I'm giving you the car,but go ahead and take it".(yeah right).The car came out of the Columbia SC area,the was sat down with customer service for a half hour briefing on the car and the many "toys",which was nice.

I am in columbia and have looked at the cars here. Did you have any incentives or anything, as I may use your numbers to beat on the crew here.

Market Adjustment: by bgle on Thu Oct 27 19:35:11 PDT 2005; On a trip from SC to Tulsa OK a three weeks ago, a few 06 Sonata's passed us and my wife & I liked the looks so while in Tulsa I visited the dealer. All their Sonata's had an add on of $ 1,500.00 for "Market Adjustment. On my return to Columbia, SC I visited the local dealer and there it is again. This time it was $2,000.00 Market adjustment, plus paint treatment, fabric treatment, Window tint and Wheel locks (just under $1,000.00). First I will never pay a "Market Adjustment" and you are now in the Cam/Cord price range with similar equipment. This was really a turn off. Has anyone run into this "Market Adjustment"? Thanks

Re: Does the Elantra GLS automatic have overdrive? [anon70]: by bikerpa on Fri Apr 29 22:28:16 PDT 2005; Overdrive is the 4th gear. Yes, automatic transmission Elantras have it. It doesn't do anything for acceleration, though.
