Bought it at the Salem, OR Hyundai dealer. Called other dealers in the state (and in southern Washington), and was getting quotes of like $15,650-$15,850 or so. Then they quoted me the really low price. I was very skeptical, but when I went there, it was very straightforward, the price was as they said, and the car was as they said.

They should be easy, but just mention it to the salesman. If you have your quote with the options listed, they might get them for you. I don't know about the other 08's. I was lucky that they had just the one (Black Diamond). I think the owner was going to drive that one until they couldn't find the 07 I wanted. The internet has been great and they will give you a good price. The internet sales manager was great. I live in Hickory and drove to Winston-Salem just because of the deal. They had to order the IPOD integration for me, so I will have to drive back sometime next week. BTW, this was with the Entertainment Package and was FWD not AWD.

thanks Taruncheel! The internet group emailed me back yesterday right after I posted and gave me the same rate for an 07 Limited w/ultimate package, cross rails and mats for $30,295. Thank you very much for your post, yes it was the one I was referring back to and we happen to be going right through Winston Salem (I live in Raleigh) this Friday so it worked out very well! Still waiting on the buyer's order to be faxed, it was supposed to come yesterday but I haven't seen it yet. I'm really surprised that the salesman I talked to wouldn't come down to that price but the internet department said this is the "internet" price- so, "GO INTERNET!" Btw, did they have other 08 Limiteds w/ultimate package there? They let me know that the dealdership owner is driving the white Limited right now so it will be Oct 10th until I can get it. They have one also in satin beige that I can take now but if I can get your deal on an 08, I may take that instead of waiting or picking a color that I'm neutral about.

I've been speaking to a salesman at Bob King (still haven't received an internet response for 2 days) and the best they'll do for me on a white 07 Limited w/cross rails and ultimate package is $31,000 plus tax (3% in NC), tags & $499 doc fee. A dealer in Fayetteville quoted a silver 07 Limited w/ultimate package and black/saddle for $30,600 plus tax, tags & $299 doc fee so it's a $600 savings but I'm not sure about that color combination (Silver/Black Saddle - it's a little weird combo,to me, in the photos I've seen) so I'm going to drive down from Raleigh and look at it. We're looking at buying on Friday if I can make up my mind between price and color. Surprisingly, the Raleigh dealer has a guarantee posted that they'll beat any price with a buyer's order but the salesman we were working with said it was too low for them. Is it okay to go through the internet after you've already worked with a saleman on the phone (if you can get them to email you back)? I'm tempted to try Winston Salem again through Edmunds - I used the dealer's website when I emailed them.

I don't mind helping. The quote I received is from Bob King Hyundai in Winston-Salem, NC. This is from their internet quote price and not by going to the dealer. You can request a free quote and they will send you an email. They have been a pleasure to work with and I am about a week away from purchasing. They even sent me an email to take $200 of the quote if I would purchase this weekend. BTW, this is not the AWD and this did include Tax, Fees, etc. and the $1000 rebate for the competitive model. Hope this helps!
Thanks Everyone

Last week I finally made my purchase of an Azera with Ultimate package. Thanks to all the info from everyone I finally was able to make a good deal here in NC. I called the Great Lake Hyundai dealer in Ohio like I had seen in other posting and they truly were the best price by far. Their price was $1,137 below my best local price of($27,530) There offer was $26,393 before tax and local rebate. I was prepared to fly to Ohio and drive the car home for this price. I called my local dealer in Winston Salem NC, and told them I was prepared to purchase from an Ohio dealer unless they could match the price of $26.393 before a $500 rebate. They agreed to match the price of $26,393. When I went to close the deal they refused to honor the $500.00 rebate telling me their price was $26,893 less $500 rebate = $26,393. I argued till I was tired of arguing that they should provide the $500 rebate and the final price should be $25,893 with rebate. I left the dealership mad and did not purchase. The next day I decided to go ahead with the deal as I was sick and tired of arguing over $500, as it would have cost me $350 to $400 to go fly to Ohio to purchase the car and drive back to NC. To be honest I was happy with the deal and wanted to put this ordeal behind me. I now have 380 miles on the Azera and really love the ride. The Pearl white with Tan is a beautiful combination.
