It also gave a little thump when downshifting to the low gear after a full stop. I have had no trans problems on my caravan after 130k miles. I have several friends with Hyundai's and they have no complaints about their quality.

Seems like dealers in MA are giving good deals. I bought mine for $16200 08 SE Automatic Silver color with mudguard, floormats, extra all weather mats, spoiler and window tint job.

Some states like NJ and NY get a $2000 rebate, others get only $1500. 2) Some cities levy sales tax in addition to state sales tax. 3) The rules for calculating sales tax before or after rebates varies by state. I know in MN sales tax is post-rebates. But other states calculate tax before rebates are deducted. The Web site for the Department of Revenue for your state should state the rules for that. Also any dealer's finance dept. would know, they do the calculation every day. 4) Hard to tell what your OTD price would be since you haven't told us what the tax, license, and other fees would be. 5) No matter how good a deal you get, there will always be someone else who gets a better one.
