Buying a car from a Hyundai Car Dealer
lol what? use costco? huh? amex? amercian express? im lost. link me if its a website. ya i know that nj dealers are cheaper than ny but i heard if you wanted to get your car serviced, it'd suck cause you'd have to go all the way to jersey. i live in nyc. is that true?
Bergen County Auto Group had the same New Year’s Sale $8,000 off MSRP from there Chrysler, Dodge, Nissan & Hyundai dealerships. They too have discounts on their website & newspaper ads, I took the advantage of purchasing a Hyundai GENesis. I had seen the low-price ads of Patrick Hyundai, Chi-town area on other auto-sites. Patrick Hyundai low-prices on the Genesis are lower than FitzGerald Hyundai of B-more/ DC-area. Any website or newspaper ads that carefully read of $8,000 or more off from MSRP is worth lookin into. Especially the Genesis of NYC-North Jersey area. I finally have the GENesis! VeraGEN
Not sure where you ended up, but $21k OTD with NYC taxes, assume a $75 doc fee and $200 for plates is right at $19k selling price. I work at a Hyundai store in jersey, and unless there was loyalty money involved we'd pass on that deal. Inventory over the past 2 weeks has dropped to near zero levels.... we sold over 80 Sonatas last month. We have 9 in stock. What I'm seeing is a lot of local dealers are getting a lot less aggressive of late. $19,500 OTD? That's closer to a $17,600 selling price. Used ex-rental 11s are doing that wholesale.
MSRP 28,800 Price 24,800 Trade 20,500 Dealer fees 249 New Jersey Tags 150 Owed 9300 on trade got a great price on trade. Very Happy with price not sure if could have gotten for less Actually did a few dollars less then true car price.. We had to go to NJ because Long Island dealer are too high most wanted MSRP which is total BS, maybe for a Hybrid they can get MSRP plus....
Do you feel like traveling to Northern New Jersey? Towne Hyundai is offering the same vehicle for $16,500 through their internet department (Sean). They are a very well respected family owned dealership. I'm sorry that I didn't pay a few more dollars and get my car there and avoid the 8 hour ordeal at another dealership.
