$13,700 is from this post. I very much want to know the dealer that sold this car so I can see if I may obtain a similar deal. It would be great if someone could explain to me how/why a dealer would sell for $13,700 a $21,095 MSRP new Sonata. I can't even get the local dealers to go to $16,100 that a NE dealer has advertised. I'm at $16,500 in the Chicago area for a $21,095 Sonata.
Reg:- Price on SE in Dallas / TX or NE.

How much should I be paying for a 2008 Sonata V6 SE on the road? I don't wish to add any extra options. BTW I'm ok to pick up the car in Omaha,NE or Dallas,TX...either location is ok with me. Thx

Here in NE Ohio, the 08's are still very scarce. Most dealers have quite a few 07's in stock, but no Limiteds. I have been able to get quotes for 2008's at dealer cost without pressing the issue, but so far no one is offering to go UNDER invoice. That $37,200 deal for an 08 Limited AWD is at least $1136 under invoice (assuming no options), which isn't too bad in my book. Those Texas deals posted earlier for $3,000 to $3,800 under invoice sound so good they make me consider jumping on a plane with a one-way ticket! :)
Good lease deal?
by tasteckler on Sat Mar 10 07:21:34 PST 2007
Because putting a down payment on a leased vehicle is anathema to me. I took the Sonata GLS offer of 30 month/199 per mo. + tax/999 + tax at signing offer and got it reworked to 30 month/ 231 per month +tax/231 + tax at signing. Is this a good deal? The $231/mo. also includes tags and title. One thing more. I have been told different things about a doc. fee. One person told ne a 595 doc fee would have been required on top of the 999, another told me it was built into the 999. anyone know the answer? Thanks in advance.
Re: 2007 Santa Fe GLS AWD [saabski]
by jiminyintx on Wed Sep 12 18:09:05 PDT 2007
saabski, we just bought our new Santa Fe here in San Antonio. At Red McCombs the internet manager would only give us $200 under dealer invoice before applying any rebate. We ended up buying our FWD Limited at World Car Hyundai at I35& Toepperwein (NE) for $600 under dealer invoice before applying rebates of $2000. Seems they have a lot of GLS's on the lot. I'd be happy to give you our salesman's name if you want. My goal was to get a deal of 84% of MSRP.....ended up getting 85%, which was $4,081 off of MSRP. See my previous posts. Good luck!
