Buying a car from a Hyundai Car Dealer

MA Hyundai Car Consumer Discussions

2012 2.0T Limited by jspam on Wed Nov 30 08:31:35 PST 2011

Earlier this month I purchase a 2012 2.0T Limited w/cargo tray in MA. $26,000 negotiated purchase price -500 loyalty rebate -500 motozuma match +70 all weather mats & mudflaps + 300 dealer fees + MA tax The dealer is fairly new and had a very large inventory. They also gave me $1200 for my falling apart 2000 elantra. Overall Im happy with the deal.. still getting used to the funky transmission downshifts though.

Veloster Lease price by nelen2 on Wed Sep 28 21:40:56 PDT 2011

Hi Car_Man, Wasn't a message board for the Veloster. Would you have any insight on what the residual value is on the new Veloster? In MA since the car is so new, I cant get a straight answer from dealers on a Veloster/DCT/Style package lease price. Right now MSRP is 21,310 and looking to lease for 36mo/12K. Thanks for the help!

Re: Price for Sonata Limited w/NAV in MA Area [jcaulfield01] by alookman on Tue Jun 21 10:10:25 PDT 2011

No one should pay sticker. Try Amex/ Zag Auto Buying Service with various zip codes and you should target 25k. If you go back to the old posts on this forum you should be able find a NE area purchaser who got a good deal. As for trade in I would not even bring it up till the new car price has been negotiated. You will get better trade in at Car Max than at new car dealership! Since its end of the month you will get good deal but must be patient. Never deal with salesman but contact internet/fleet sales mgr. by email and than phone if he has the car and is willing. Hyundai has factory to dealer incentives (varies each month) and you should be able to buy well below invoice! Good luck!

2011 Tuscon GLS AWD by dieuwer on Mon Sep 20 20:20:31 PDT 2010

Paid $23570 for a new 2011 Tuscon GLS AWD with mud guards, cargo tray and floor mats. This is about $100 above invoice according to TrueCar. Bought the car in Lynn, MA. Also arranged for financing at 3.2% via dealer. Actually, the 3.2% is hilarious since the "special APR" from Hyundai is 3.9%!

Re: in MA [ipswichgreg] by usfarbuo1 on Thu Apr 29 15:05:33 PDT 2010

If you don't mind me asking what did you pay, please. I'm here in Winchester, Ma. and my last two hyundais (wife purchased a 2010 Hyundai Accent-nice car for her)were purchased from Hyundai Village. I just like to do business with them and their service dept. is very good as well their prices have been fair and also they don't harass you. I've been working with them on a 2011 Hyundai Sonata and they quoted me (with nav).and black leather a price of 26,500. minus 500.(26,000. total) for Hyundai loyalty as I still have my 2006 Azera for a trade in. Problem is I love the 2010 Genesis and I've also been going back and forth with them on a price. Actually, on the Genesis the msrp is 37,300. and they quoted me 33,000 which seems like a great deal. The kicker is this month (April) Hyundai has a 1,500. rebate .on the 2010 Genesis for owner loyalty and get this the offer is only good in New York, Conn, and New Jersey-how weird is that. I know it to be true as I checked it out myself. I'm hoping they extend this offer to Mass. for the month of May. I haven't been to Pride but maybe I should do so. Appreciate whatever info. you can give me. Thank You.
