Patrick Hyundai, Schaumburg IL sent bulk email on the 16th, "0% APR on ALL NEW HYUNDAI". It would be interesting to hear from any readers of this forum who got that deal. Thirty minutes later, North Hyundai, Houston sent a similar bulk message with the phrase, "...right now Hyundai is offering 0% on the Sonata." I called North. The internet manager replied that he thought it applied only to 2008 models, that his associate sent the email, and that he had 33 new messages in his inbox. He did not call back. :confuse:
2007 Sonata Used

Regarding the previous posts - I really think all dealerships are sketchy in some way, that's just the way it is. Here's my recent purchase: I live in Chicago and this weekend I bought a 2007 Sonata with all the fixin's except sunroof (woodtrim, steering wheel controls, cruise etc...). Purchase price was $14,300 before TTL - car has 6400 miles. I love it and feel like I got a good deal, however the dealership, like most, was trying to grind me down for every extra penny they could get. I bought the car from Patrick Hyundai in Schaumburg, IL. All these places play games - after we settled on price they told me that they only had one set of keys. If I wanted a second set (of course I did) it would cost $6 for the key and an additional $212 for the keyless entry remote (100 for remote and 112 for the programming of the remote). I almost walked out - I threw a fit and basically called them out on that B.S. tactic although I ended up paying $56 for the extra key (guy said he would give me the remote for free and 'split the cost' of the programming). I know this was all B.S. and I could have probably got it all for free but at that point I just wanted to close the deal up. Their whole mission is to wear you down, grinding you out for every penny. So that's my story - I love the car it drives like a dream. I hate dealing with salesmen though, it's the only part that makes buying a car a bit painful.
