[saabski]: by nortsr1 on Thu Aug 30 06:17:15 PDT 2007; I don't know where you live, but in the USA right now there is a $1500.00 rebate and another $500.00 incentive for financing thru HMFC for a grand total of $2000.00 off any Tuscon (until Sept.3rd) and at almost any Hyundai dealer you can get a Tuscon right now for INVOICE or below.. less the $2000.00 incentives. I don't know whay your INVOICE price is on the leftover 2006...but...perhaps you can get a 2007 for the same price????? or near that $17,500.00 figure. Go to the Edmunds pricing site and find out what the invoice price really is before you make the plunge. NORTSR

Fitzmall, MD. question about Hyundai Tuscon: by nortsr1 on Sat Aug 25 13:51:58 PDT 2007; Has anyone ever purchased thru the above dealer?It seems they offer below invoice prices on the Hyundai Tuscon. What kind of deal do they offer on the "trade-in" as it seems their prices are "too good to be true"! Do they try and low ball the trade to make it up??? And yet I have read in some of the other posts that other dealers "beat" their deals. Their "black book" values are not anywhere near KBB, NADA and Edmunds. Any replies would be appreciated. NORTSR

If you do decide to buy the warranty...make sure it is the Factory OEM warranty. Some dealers will sell you a NON factory warranty. Be careful and if you check back on this site or the SantaFe site, I believe you will find some recommended Hyundai dealerships that sell the Hyundai 10 year for Less. Try the "Search" option. Perhaps the moderator of this site can help on that.

You paid $ 12,488.00, plus $299 plus $299, plus $600.00 plus $2495...which totals $16,181.00...for a car that was MSRP of $19,480.00. Where in the heck did the $12, 488.00 figure come from????...what the heck is a "Deset Protection Package???Why $600.00 forGap Protection??? and $2495.00 for that warranty....I think something is wrong here!!!! A dealer " DOES NOT" sell a MSRP $19.480.00 vehicle...reduce the price to $12,488.00, then throw on all those add-ons (whatever the heck they are supposed to be...(except to make up for the low-ball offer). It seems to me that you received a good price for the vehicle...but....it sure was the long way around to get it. You threatening to call the owner of the dealership about bait and switch...do you really think that helped...Seems to me all they did was switch the figures around. The dealership owner is the one that probably put the LOWBALL ad in the paper in thje first place!!! Please inform us if you get ANY monies back on that so called warranty or any other "unwanted "charges within 15 days. Don't hold your breath on that one!!!
