Just paid $9,560 for new 07 GLS: by ashoe on Tue Oct 23 12:35:37 PDT 2007; We just picked up a brand new 07 elantra gls (super basic package- no air or stereo) 5 speed for $9,560. The MSRP for this car (with floor mats) was $14,180. We paid Denver tax at 7.2% and the dealer fee (they weren't budging on that), for a total of $10,982 out the door. This dealer (Arapaphoe Hyundai in Centennial, CO) has several more of these cars at this price, but unfortunately they were pretty difficult to work with. Here's my question, though. We want to add a stereo (will still have a brand new one from the car that we replaced) and add tint. They are asking $210 for tint and $135 to put in the stereo. Should I go through the dealer and take these prices? Or can I go through another local dealer and keep my warranty intact? Any ideas on reasonable prices for these things? Thanks.

We made all arrangement with June Reynolds, their internet sales person, by email - no hassles. List on our Limited AWD w/ Premium package was a little over $30K and our otd price was $25,200. We also got full wholesale value for our Outback trade. Great car, and easy place to work with.

What Should I Pay?: by stelmoqn on Wed Jan 03 14:36:26 PST 2007; Looking at the '07 AWD Limited in Platinum Sage w/ beige leather interior. Don't want 3rd row seating or upgrades except for sunroof? I live in the Denver, CO area.

Try turning up the brightness on the dash display; it's a wheel (same as for heated seats), on the far left of the dash. My wipers (set to auto for rain-sensing) make one sweep of the windshield when I first start the car ... though the windshield's dry. Has anyone else experienced that? Mine handled very well this morning, despie snowy and icy roads. My commute's 18 miles round trip, on a road that's semi-rural area and hilly. I too drove with and w/out the ESC and it makes a noticeable difference. Thank goodness for it! :)

I'm surprised that this car is so hard to find in FL. As previously posted, there's plenty of 'em here in the Denver metro area. It's too bad that your Thanksgiving dinner was not so good :( No dry turkey for us; every other year, it's a bird-free dinner. So this year I made pizza from scratch. Lou, I'm hoping to hear from you soon that you're happily motoring around in your Azera! I am thus far very pleased w/ mine.
