My Buying Story: by JAKAMO on Sun Dec 21 06:44:28 PST 2008; We purchased a new 2008 Santa Fe Ltd on Nov 24 2008, we called around dealers and had a range of quotes from 22k to 28k, we went with $22,250 with floor mats which i thought was a great deal, in San Jose , Ca. I luv the car and I am glad i chose it instead of the RAV4 which was lot more dosh for similar features, MPG for me is best at around 60 MPH, we put 15k down and the rest at 0 % for 3 years,

Re: UPDATE 2009 Sonata Limited with NAVI purchase [moocow1]: by aspesisteve on Mon Sep 15 21:24:02 PDT 2008; regardless if the dealer makes anything off the sale of a vehicle, the service dept. is a different entity with different managers and profit structures. Unlike the sale of a car, the service department isn't where you hagle - they will be more than happy to have your business whether or not you bought the car at their dealership, regardless of what you paid for the car.

I didnt check too much on the oher models but Fusion had Focus had 3K+ off and Fusion 8K 0ff. One of them even offered 12.5K off the Mustang GT all from the MSRP. I am almost convinced that the mustang makes better bargain at this price. Check out Frontier Ford or Sunnyvale ford in the San Jose area . They have ads with these specials. Plus Ford seems to be running some extra discounts specific to CA. Thanks!

2009 Limited V6 fully loaded: by spiffy_dude on Fri Jun 20 17:13:19 PDT 2008; Capitol Hyundai in San jose, CA is offering me a fully loaded 2009 Limited V6 (nav, mats etc.) for $1200 below invoice i.e.25227. Bluetooth will be extra at $300. We are also going to get rear parking sensors installed at $695. So, overall, it's coming out to : $26222 before taxes, fees etc. Is it a good/decent deal or do we need to bring it down even more ?

It took over a month to get this combo. Dealer in San Jose, CA. matched carsdirect.com price. I searched all over Calif and this was the best deal I could find for a vehicle I had to order. Pricing as follows: Price: 29020 (sticker = 31080) Doc Prep Fee 55 Sales Tax 2107.94 (calif) Addl warranty bumpertobumper 100k/10years = 995 License 252 Cali tire fee 8.75 Total 32438.69 Total rebates 1750 (1000 plus 750 finance rebate) Out the door = 30688.69 Overall we're very happy with this car. The color combo looks great, is very rare and was worth waiting for.
