Re: Dealers in Arizona? [oceanblu]

Ocean, I'm in Phoenix area, I shopped Larry Miller, Chapman and North Scottsdale Hyundai. Got the best treatment and by far the best pricing at North Scottsdale. They have good stock of '08s, the other dealers still are trying to get rid of 07s. NS gave me a better deal on an 08 than Chapman worked up on an 07, plus the sales manager at Chapman was insulting. I figure they should treat a cusomter better.

moondog, if you can get the Limited for $22000, it is a pretty good deal. invoice is around $24K, less rebate whichi I think is runnign $1500 on Azera, unless it has expired. Not sure when the '07s are hitting the dealers, but the '06 models still are out in number in the Phoenix area. May be a while, I think the model changes information just hit the Hyundai web site within the last month.

Can I buy sonata LX with 100 % internet and phone work?
by samkim32 on Sat Jun 10 22:26:33 PDT 2006
Aloha! I'm in hawaii. I'll have honeymoon around california "mid" August and start my job "later" August at Phoenix,AZ. Since Hyundai gives good offer until 4/7/06, I'd like a good deal and buy new sonata LX before the deadline. But I should be stuck here in Big Island, Hawaii until the honey moon. I'm boldly thing my first hyundai LX would be my honeymoon car ^^ or I could get it in Phoenix. New car and new life! Can I make it "by 100% internet and phone work?" ? Or I'd better start off car research again at phoenix? Honda, toyota ..blah.. blah... model 2007 ... -_- Let me have any comment on these issue ?
quotes so far GLS V6
by banman7 on Tue Apr 11 19:25:35 PDT 2006
Hi all, Been reading this forum for a few weeks and decided to post my Sonata buying experience thus far. I am employing the "fax attack" strategy this week from fightingchance.com. I am in the Phoenix area and have faxed 14 of the 15 Hyundai dealers in AZ. About half have responded. I am looking for GLS V6 with option pkg 5 (sunroof, power drivers seat, etc.). Not into LX as not into leather in general, plus I live in AZ and I think leather generates too much heat in the sun. Suprisingly, many of the dealers I spoke with claim the LX sells well here. Anyway, GLS V6 with pkg 5 invoice is $21,213. So far the best quote I have is $1500 below invoice price, $19,713, before rebates. The best rate I can get outside of Hyundai is 6.59%, so probably will go with Hyundai's 2.9% + $1000 rebate offer. I did the math and it's better than taking the $2000 with the higher APR. I also qualify for college grad rebate. I may trade in my old 96 Pontiac Grand AM as well, perhaps $600-800 so I figure the OTD will be under $20K, maybe $19,660 or so. Tomorrow (Wed) I will call all of them and see if any of the others will lower their price to earn my business. Under $20K for this vehicle sure beats the heck out of Camry, Accord, Altima or whatever. Just hope the depreciation doesn't bite me in the back end in 5-8 years.
