07 Mag Pearl (no NAV): by suchham1 on Sun Dec 24 16:33:33 PST 2006; Picked mine up Dec 18 @Raines Honda in S.Charleston, WV. Paid MSRP but got a VERY nice trade ($9k) on my 2000 Accord EX V6-L, leaving me w/ about 15k to pay after all taxes/fees. Kinda hated to say bye to the Accord-it was trouble free-but the time had come to move on. The time involved with the dealer was minimal and no hassle at all. They swapped another dealer for the color I wanted and didn't try to pressure me in any way to buy any add-ons. So far, after about 320 miles, the gauge is showing 39+mpg, which I don't think is bad, considering how many hills are in this area. Pearl still has more than half a tank left in her, so I'm guessing I'll get about 700 miles or more on the first tank. All in all, this seems like a typical Honda in that it's built well and performs just like it should.

He bought from Lester Raines Honda in Charleston, WV. He had to rent a car to get there, but the dealer paid for it and he dropped his kid off at a nearby college. He also looked at Houston, TX were prices are reported to be much lower for some reason nobody can explain? Neither a trade nor financing were involved. The Washington, DC dealers were at least $800 higher with Tyson's Honda offering the highest quote..of course.

So far these are the offers ... $28789.01 OTD (tax 5%, title, reg.) $30,351.19 $29,500 $29,281 $30,400 I was told of a $1000.00 "back" offer by only 1 of the salesmen.

Taxes: by dust90 on Sun Feb 15 04:12:29 PST 2004; WV will hit you with a 5% "use tax" when you register a previously(in another state) registered vehicle here. I've bought cars in OH, PA and KY and paid no sales tax there, because I was not registering the vehicle in that state, but bringing it to WV to be titled.

Vitaly2: by dust90 on Thu Dec 11 14:55:04 PST 2003; I also bought my Accord from Lester Raines. I like the way they do bussiness! I wouldn't buy anything from Love Toyota, Nissan, Chevy. I bought my 4Runner from Rich Toyota in Huntington(I think they are now Advantage Toyota in Barboursville) and it was quite pleasant. Wife got her Camry at Bert Wolfe Toyota & that deal was a bit of a hassle, but they had the car she wanted.

6-speed V6 coupe: by dust90 on Fri Nov 28 18:12:15 PST 2003; I bought one 4 weeks ago for $500 over invoice, here in WV. However, most of the dealers that I contacted(WV, KY, OH) wanted MSRP or close to it. I was told that most dealers only get one 6-speed V6 coupe per month, but the dealer I bought mine from now has 2 silver 6 speeds on his lot! I love my 6-speed V6 coupe, but I wouldn't want to take it any serious snow without some good snow tires. The traction control kicks in quite frequently on just wet roads.
