While helping friends shop for their new van, received offer of $25,864 +T&L through internet sales at Klein Honda (Everett, WA). Incl. splashguards, wheel locks, 3M clear door edge guards. Very straightforward, upfront pricing. Great experience.
My Pilot EXL 4WD Purchase - W. Washington

First and foremost, a grand thank you to all in this forum for sharing their experiences and knowledge to help all of us. I finally signed on the dotted line last night and drove off the lot with my new ride. Have to say.. this is my very first new vehicle purchase and it was the easiest purchase EVER! I went to Klein Honda in Everett, WA as they beat everyone I talked to in a 50 mile radius. The salesman (email me if you want more info) was absolutely a perfect gentlemen and recognized that even though I am a woman, I too can do alot of research and knew my stuff. He was a straight shooter, we didn't dicker around with pricing and he kept his word. He recognized that for those who do their research, he doesn't deny the fact of holdbacks, floorplans and dealer cash. With a net invoice of $27,000. All they were asking was a little profit on the car. Over the phone we agreed to $27,500. Once I got there, the only addition were the mudflaps and wheel locks. I did gently voiced that I would not be needing them. He had them listed at cost, and then further reduced the price by another 100 bucks. He comes out with the huge "options" book, asks if I'm interested in any, I say no thank you and he puts the book away. Not a second word mentioned. Did a complete walk through and demo of all the features.. and was even helping and overseeing the cleaning crew making sure my ride was perfect. He did look at my possible trade in and gave me the price he could give me, even though it was the best price that I received from any other dealership it wasn't worth it to trade and he even said so. The difference is that he didn't start fudging numbers and mixing up the two different transactions. The finance guy was fast and efficient. He showed all the extras and options which I declined and that was it. Absolutely no pressure tactics at all! I was OTD after TTL at $30,500. If you want to find a great vehicle, in and out the door in short order without any hassles at all. This was the sweetest, easiest deal I've ever had purchasing a vehicle, no hype, no song and dance, no pressure tactics... and if you bring your kids (I had my 3yr old with me) they will feed them too! Email me if you have any questions or would like further info. Thank you to all! Cheers, T
CR-V in Seattle

I purchased a 2007 AWD EX-L w/navi last weekend from the good folks at Klein Honda in Everett, WA (near Seattle). I paid $200 under MSRP + accessories. I used my 2005 CR-V as a trade and received about $700 more than I was offered at another dealership. Up here, the navi models are few and far between and the dealers are not "dealing" - they don't have to. I have been looking at mid sized SUV's for the past 3 months. I drove the RX 350, MDX, RDX, LR2, Acadia, Lincoln, Cadillac, CX-7, CX-9, Murano, FX35 and Saturn Vue. Of all of these, the MDX was my favorite. I just couldn't bring myself to spend $44,000 on a car, regardless of how nice it was. So I decided to purchase the new CR-V and feel pretty good about saving $14,000. It is much improved over the last generation and the navigation is much more intuitive than the Acura SUVs. All in all, a great little vehicle that is also fun to drive.
06 Pilot in my garage, finally

Well, I finally got sick of going back an forth and just got an 06 EXL NAV from Klein Honda in Everett WA. I was so frazzled with going back and forth and thinking about driving down to CA, yesterday the guy at norm reeves is ca said they only had one left with nav at it had running boards which I did not want,,,,, also I was concerned that when I drove all the way down there they would not give me what his ‘blind appraisal’ came in for my 02 chevy. I had given up and was actually looking for the chevy dealer in Everett thinking I could get a 2 or 3 year lease for about 350, I saw Klein Honda and figured I would try once more and I ended up with a demo with 2750 miles on it, + the tow package for the equity in my chevy, down [about 3200---valuing my chevy at 8k] and 472 / month for a 3 year 36 month 12k lease. I’m having some buyers remorse about getting the demo but at least it’s done with. I was just worn down and wanted out of my chevy after reading about all the problems listed on the boards here. Price, $29,995 with full tank of gas and a $100 gas card

I also found all the honda accessories at less then 1/2 of the price the dealers are selling them for at; http://www.hondacuraworld.com/Merchant2/merchant.mvc?Screen=CTGY&Category_Code=H- P example, cargo liner, 335 dealer, 159--- those 99 dollar rim locks [oh, I got rim locks and mud flaps!!] 34 bucks!! oh, my deal almost blew up in the F&I office as they tried to just give me a trailer hitch instead of the full package, but I held fast and got the full package.
Pacific Northwest Pilots

I live in the Seattle/Everett area and completed internet negotiations for an EX-L in late March. First, I obtained quotes from dealers in the local area as well as several out-of -state dealers. I used the best initial quotes to try and get a better deal from all the dealerships that responded. The best quotes that I received were as follows (all prices include destination and document fees but not tax and license):   Mike Pruitt Ohio $28761 (no options)   Gardena CA $29306 (no options)   Mick McClure Idaho $30071 (splash guards only)   Local Dlrs WA $31360 (no options) The cost of shipping from Ohio was quoted at around $1200 and from California was around $700. The sale consultant at Mick McClure offered three delivery options. He would drive it to my door at no additional cost, I could have it shipped for $450 or I could fly to Spokane and they would pick me up at the airport and drive me to Lewiston. Since the cost of shipping ate up most of the savings of going with the Ohio and California dealers I went with Mick McClure. The sales consultant that I worked with was terrific (provide me with your email address if you would like his name). I elected to fly to Spokane ($90 airfare) where he met me for the drive to Lewiston. The buying experience was great, with no pressure to purchase the extended warranty or any other extras. Last week I thoroughly enjoyed driving my new Pilot back to Seattle. Bottom line; though Pacific Northwest buyers may have trouble getting the deals that people are getting in other parts of the country, there is no good reason to pay MSRP at the local dealerships.
