The market down there must be tougher that I even thought! It's BELOW dealer invoice! What more do you want? Hopefully it wasn't a lowball. Just watch out for high doc fees.

Sorry, I don't recall the specific state (or states) that do allow sales tax credit for private non-dealer trade situations. State sales tax rules are available on the net, but are hard to find in one place. isellhondas, I you can certainly look at a dealers-only sales tax break as better than no break at all. OTOH, if the break were to be eliminated all-together tomorrow, states would presumably see their tax revenues rise so that tax rates could be lowered for everyone, or at least, a sale tax rate hike could be postponed. It is, after all, a zero-sum game when the day is done. Every tax break has to eventually be paid for by everyone. We're way off topic with respect to how much people are paying for Pilots, so I'll bow out on that. - Mark
