I have an offer from Koons Honda in Manassas, VA for a LX Sedan for $17848 (including tax/tag/freight). So after CFC that would be about $13400 for me. Is that a fair deal? Ourisman Honda in Bethesda is quoting me at 16468 + TTL/Freight for a LX-S. That would come out to about $17871 including TTL. Thoughts?

I paid for the EX-L with a home equity loan, so I didn't need a loan. From reading many posts on this site in the last few months, I have seen that if you finance through Honda, and use the 0.9% rate or the 2.9% rate (for a longer term), it add a certain amount to the price. You should send a price quote today to ask what they can do with the EX-L with RES at 0.9% financing. Believe me, they were really stressing the good finance rates. Since the deals they give are so good, I think they are trying to earn extra incentive money from Honda for financing. By the way, also try Koons of Manassas: http://www.grabthewheel.com They are offering $500 extra off until the end of the day on Monday, but their prices are a bit higher than Hendrick. Between the two of them, you can get a good deal. I highly recommend both places. What they tell you is what they do.

These seem high to me. I bought my car in MD (Live in VA) and I think you can do better. Did you try Laurel Honda? I think there is one dealer in VA (somewhere near Manassas?) and I read that someone got a great deal from them as well.

Koons Honda in Manassas, Va...I really liked how they quoted the "Final Out the Door" price on the online quote and I then negotiated an another $300 off from there to offset difference in the lower processing fees that other Honda dealers were charging in nearby Maryland...I guess it also helped that the date was 4/30, the last day of the month and they wanted to meet their numbers...Their Internet Sales guy was named Ahmed and was a good guy and easy to deal with....
