I am Sorry But That is not good deal. They quoted me for new ones: ( i am sure there is room for negotiation, and they know that i am not paying cash ) LX 24,000 + Tax Fees EX 26,000 + Tax Fees Ex_L 27,600 + Tax Fees

I just got a used 2006 Honda Ody Touring in Plano, TX over the weekend. Has 27500 miles and is in excellent condition, had it inspected at Driver's edge and was just told tires need replaced in 10K miles and need wipers. Paid 22950 + TTL. Was that a good deal? :)

I got mine in Plano, TX at Honda of McKinney for 24,326 (destination charge, tint windows, nitrogen, paint sealant, fabric sealant, mud guards, trunk tray, wheel locks included). It's with nav but no leather. OTD price was 26100. I'm happy with the price but not too hot about the mileage I'm getting - which is about 35 combined - even with conservative driving. I'm hoping this is due to cold weather (~30F of late). I want this thing to in in the 40's at least.

The title was misleading in my earlier post - I have changed it now. We did pick up the CRV with a Nav. It is quite possible that it was not the absolute best deal but for that itself I had to undergo a lot of negotiation and wait time, and the dealer reaction made me think that I was not far away from their least price.

We decided to go for a CRV with Nav. Did research on this thread and came up with numbers and sent color combination to few dealers. Here is what I paid Lute Riley Honda, Richardson: $26,600 + TTL which came to $28,492 OTD. Add-ons were wheel locks, mud guards, and cargo tray. Lot of negotiation occurred. Dealer said that he could not go below this price since he would lose money on the deal, and he did not want to do that since CRV is a much wanted vehicle. Later, the financier later showed me a screen where it said that they made a net of $13 on the deal. Not sure if all that was accurate.

I realized that the numbers in my earlier post were not competitive at all. So I reviewed this thread for the numbers that others were getting and decided that the number to look for EX-L Res and Nav was about 30K + TTL. Sent out emails from Edmunds and Honda websites - stated exact color combination required. Got an immediate phone reply from a dealer. I stated that I was looking for about 32K OTD, he said OK. Since we were looking for 2 cars (the other one a CRV), it was great that that the dealer had that in stock too and agreed for that price too. Once we reached the dealer, there was some intense negotiation on the add-ons and a lot of "let me go and speak to my manager". Here is what I paid Lute Riley Honda in Richardson, TX: $30,300 + TTL which came to $32,400 OTD. Add-ons were wheel locks, mud guards, cargo net, cargo tray, and pin stripe. Note: no 0.9% financing is possible at these numbers. Paid cash.
