2010 EX-L with Navigation: by tntblazer on Sun Nov 22 14:38:27 PST 2009; Thought I'd let everyone know how I came out yesterday. Got a 2010 Glacier Blue EX-L with Nav, sunroof deflector, splash guards, pinstripes for $27,900, no taxes, bought out of state. I'll pay right at $2k in taxes when I register it in TN. Bought in Huntsville, AL.

Don't hurry to dealership. They will drag you for half day and you would end up pay $500 or $1000 more than your plan or you waste your time.

2009 Accord EX-L 4 cyl. in Memphis TN: by alans3 on Sun Oct 04 16:19:00 PDT 2009; Hi, At one dealer in Memphis I looked at their website and saw an EX-L 4 cyl. with an MSRP = $27115 and an Online Price = 25194. This seems a lot higher that the deals I've seen for EX-L's. I went to the dealer before opening hours and gathered the following information from the window sticker: MSRP = $26405 Destination and handling = $705 Total Vehicle Price (includes pre-delivery service) = $27115 The dealer had the following price on the car on a separate sticker: Accent Stripe = $159 Moonroof visor = $229 Splash guards (set of 4) = $249 Wheel locks = $129 Theft Protection = $179 APP - Appearance protection program = $189 Total = $28249 25194/28249 = 89% of sticker total What should we offer for this car (or one very similar) not including TTL? The dealer website doesn't list a contact for internet sales, it just says please call. Should I call and ask for the internet sales person before going to the dealer to talk & test drive. Also, another dealer in town has an appearance package with ProPack, nitrogen pack, trunk tray, mud guards, wheel locks for $980, so the dealer add-ons look similar - though I don't know what propack or nitrogen pack are. I'm not quite sure what a trunk tray is either, maybe a fancy cargo net? Since the dealers have the same amound of add-ons I figure I could talk to either one first. Thanks for any replies. Alan

Taxes are around 9.5% here in Nashville, TN. I'm not sure what they are in your area. I went to Crest Honda and talked to Raul. He's a genuine guy and worked very hard to make us happy. 2010 Pilot Ex-L 4WD in Nashville: by angie_b on Mon Aug 10 10:23:07 PDT 2009; Closed the deal on this new Pilot on 8/7/09 at Reddell Honda in Murfreesboro, TN. Vehicle price of $33, 098 which included destination charge plus all-season mats, moonroof visor and pinstriping; OTD price after taxes, doc fee, etc was $37K. Would have liked to have had it for about $1500 less, but based on research for pricing in this region and increased showroom traffic thanks to CARS, this seemed competitive and fair. Happy to close the deal and be driving my new Pilot! Great experience all the way around. Mary, our internet sales consultant, was responsive and dedicated to answering all our questions. Did everything (except take delivery) via email, phone and fax in just 5 days! Highly recommend this dealership for anyone in the Middle Tennessee area. Happy driving!
