When you requested the quotes did you specify you wanted an out the door price? If not more than likely it will just be the price of the vehicle plus tax, title and license for your area. You can use the financial calculator on Edmund's to get a rough idea what the drive out price will be. Don't think the 2008's have been shipped out yet to dealerships.

Chattanooga, TN CRV EXL 2WD: by grngardn1 on Sun Aug 19 18:55:16 PDT 2007; Ok, please help and bear with me...I have been lurking but really don't understand some things....So, here we go....I sent out requests for the CRV 2WD EXL and received my first one back. It says they can price it at $24,615 with the Honda protection package (wheel locks, cargo tray, and mud guards) also include protection package interior and exterior with a 5 year warranty. This doesn't sound to good to me. I would assume that I need then to pay taxes, title and license fee right? When some one on the board prices OTD is that inclusive of everything - including taxes title and license? Sorry to be so winded just trying to make sense of everything. Oh, what about the 2008 are they here or when will they be here? I didn't see any today on the lot. Thanks in adance for the help :)

I compared prices across about 15 dealers in south central KY (Lexington, Richmond, Somerset, etc) and eastern TN (Knoxville, Chattanooga, etc). Ultimately, I ended up purchasing from West Side Honda in Knoxville. Not only did they have the best price, but their service was great as well. Internet Sales Manager was easy to deal with and very straight forward. Here is the deal I got. On June 30 34100.50 - Vehicle(incl 595 dest charge) 1310.00 - Honda Care(6yr 120,000miles, $0 deductible) 299.00 - Tire & Wheel Protection(5yr) 399.50 - Doc prep(T&L) 2417.94 - Tax 5.50 - TN fee for some BS like battery or tire --------- 38532.44 - OTD (incl protection package, cargo tray, wheel locks, mud flaps, pin stripe) Good luck, Ed

Sales tax is around 8% for the state. Wondering if others would share good deal encountered in Knoxville/Morristown/Chattanooga area.

I found all the pricing information very helpful so I thought I would share mine in case in might help someone else. I got the Silver CRV EX-L 2WD and I love it. I paid 26869 OTD (after taxes and all but before my trade). I emailed a ton of dealers and took the best price to Economy Honda in Chattanooga and they matched it. I traded a 2003 Civic Coupe which they gave me 9500 form, which is what I wanted to make selling it privately so I was very pleased when they got up to that price and that is why I decided to go ahead and trade. The salesman I worked with was WONDERFUl so if anyone wants his name and number let me know and I will be happy to send it to you. I LOVE MY NEW CRV!!!!!!! :)
