Re: 2010 Accord Coupe Auto EX [postmortem]: by jpelletier on Mon Nov 09 12:05:47 PST 2009; I'm reading backward as I decide what to do with my 2007 EX-L V6 lease set to expire soon. I need to comment about the I4 VS. the V6 and I must say there is a HUGE difference in the MPG - at least in the 2007 model. I want to say since I've had the car I've gotten only in the vicinity of 20 MPG whereas my inlaws with the exact same vehicle but the I4 average in the high 20s to low 30s. The needle moves so quickly from full:( So...I need to decide whether I buy my 07 at $16.2k (just under the 36k miles) or just buy a new I4 as leasing is not in the cards this time. The V6 power and especially the suspension is nice but not worth the extra $$$ spent on gas. I think if I were to figure it over the long run, say 10 years, they would even out in price. If anyone has any comments or suggestions I would love to hear them! I also would love to hear recent prices in the MA/RI area for EX-L I4s.

I'm looking for a 2010 EX-L and Herb Chambers (seekonk) would only go to 33,500 and said they were so busy they would sell the car at that price. Majestic Honda (RI) was at 32,914 and everywhere else (Colonial in Dartmouth and Bernardi and Boch) has yet to respond to my internet quote request. Maybe because the mass sales tax is going up this week?

Honda still allows Saccucci to sell online when a lawsuit pending. Saccucci is Honda dealer in RI, Bernardi is Honda dealer in MA http://www.myhondawarranty.com/ http://www.bernardiwarranty.com/ You can cancel - call the dealer or when you receive the warranty in mail, just read the paper on how to cancel. If you had the charge build into AHFC payment then it needs more process to ask them do the adjustment after cancellation.

EX-L V6 Coupe 6 Speed w/Navi: by falashan on Wed Jun 10 03:14:45 PDT 2009; Yesterday I picked up a Red/Black EX-L V6 Coupe with 6 speed and Navi for $26,873 from Autofair Honda in Manchester, NH. The entire transaction was a pleasure, no high pressure at all and done in under 2 hours. I would have preferred a Red/Tan, but the only one I was able to find is at Piazza Honda in Limerick, PA. I offered them $25,500 for it but they refused to budge from $27,000 for a vehicle without Navi that they have had in stock since April. So for $127 less I'll take a black interior and Navi! Today I plan to order the 72month/120K $0 deductible Honda Care warranty from Saccucci Honda in Middletown, RI for $840, not a bad buy at 7/10th of a cent per mile of coverage.

I wanted to buy from them, but they did not move off that price. Dealer #2, Majestic, RI: $ 18,699, includes destination, plus TTL; never followed up with them to see if any strings attached Dealer #3, Silko, Raynham, MA: $19,222, includes destination, plus TTL Dealer #4, Boch Norwood, MA: $18,927, includes destination, plus TTL. Bought from them as described above.
