Cost: $24874.00 Residual: 57% Money Factor: 0.002850 Cash Down: $0 Trade In: $0 Mileage: 12K/yr. Lease Term: 36 months Sales Tax: 6% Lease Tax: 3% (a PA thing, I think) The monthly payment breaks down to: Monthly Depr: $275.48 Service Charge: $113.52 So, plus tax, total monthly is: $424.01. What do you think? They've been pretty easy to deal with, but it would be good to get some feedback on their offer. Thanks

They normally give very good price over internet, then charge 2000 for protection packeage after you get there. They said it is standard with the car, which is not true. You may get that package for 1500 after spending a whole day there. They will send different people to keep you there. Finally you can figure out the price for the car. BTW I got my Accord from Sport Honda,MD and Odyssey from Faulkner Honda, PA. Those dealership are nice and honest.

If you're in NW PA, it might be worth your while to try some of the competitive stores in NE Ohio. Folks have reported good prices at Jay Honda in Cleveland, College Hills Honda in Wooster, The Honda Store in Youngstown, Park Honda or Mike Pruitt Honda in Akron, and Classic Honda in Streetsboro, among others. You might also check Honda's website and this weekend's major area dailies for lease info.

Re: Looking for Honda Pilot EX-L (no extra's) in Pgh [eoink]: by cccompson on Mon Apr 04 16:43:32 PDT 2005; Although I haven't seen any recent posts on Ohio Pilot prices, there are a number of other dealers in NE Ohio that you might try - The Honda Store in Youngstown, Jay Honda in Bedford, Park Honda in Akron, and College Hills Honda in Wooster. There is (or at least should be) no paperwork difference on an in-state versus an out of state transaction. The selling dealer will collect the applicable PA sales tax and send you the title (or memo) after it has been issued by PA.

It's certainly the dealer's right to mark it up way above sticker and see if they find someone with more money than sense. I would think the business it chases away--not to mention bad PR--wouldn't be worth it, though. Why are people on the west coast seemingly willing to pay more for everything? (And please, everyone, no lectures on supply & demand. I've been to college). Based on other prices posted here, you west coasters should come to PA or OH and shop. Sounds like it would be worth the cost of shipping. Better yet, turn it into a cross-country vacation on the way home.
