2007 EX-L Price Paid on Oct. 31: by sassymolassie on Sat Nov 04 10:00:02 PST 2006; I bought a 2007 Pilot EX-L in Nimbus Gray Metallic without navigation or rear entertainment. At the advice of this site, I did a lot of haggling via email with three or four local dealers and went to the dealer already knowing how much I was going to pay. I ended up paying 30,600 (including destination) plus the typical taxes, title and licensing. I had them throw in mud guard and wheel locks. I bought at Lehigh Valley Honda in Allentown (Emmaus), Pa. The person I dealt with via email was responsive and met my deadlines. They really lowballed me on the trade so I pulled it from the deal and am selling it on my own. Phillipsburg (NJ)-Easton Honda was bad about replying electronically, so even though they were 20 minutes closer, I took them out of the equation. I've already driven the Pilot on a three-hour trip to Syracuse and then into New York City. Other than my fear or being bumped in New York with the new car, the Pilot is great. :)

Re: Bought EX-L with NAV/RES in Allentown PA: by cobra427man on Wed Mar 29 15:47:00 PST 2006; Just bought a EX-L With NAV/RES and Honda towing package from Lehigh Valley Honda. Color: Red $33,000 including destination charge. Although there is alot a talk about getting cars "under invoice" I feel that it's always a good measure to offer a fair price right off that includes a modest profit margin for the dealer can live with. The price I got it for was $3000 off the MSRP but above the edmund's invoice. I left a little room for the dealer and the deal went down rather quick. I think the best price I have seen this van go for from the forums was $32,600 with the same equipment.

Yes, is true...when I bought my '04 SI, the dealer had the '04 leftover and six other '05 SI's on the lot. He really wanted to deal to get the '04 moved so for the $1K difference I took it off him. The '04 and '05 are the same cars anyhey. I bought mine in Allentown, PA, other dealers in the area had no SI's left...even '05s. We'll have to see how the new '06 SI selling pans out, bet it's a limited amount that honda makes...we'll see. :)
