Find Honda Dealers in West Linn, Oregon

Hi Folks I have been working on getting quotes from our local dealers here in Boise, ID along with a couple over in Portland, OR for a 2010 AWD CRV EX-L. They have all come in at a little over $27,000 for the car (no options). One dealer has quoted about $26,000. When I sent this quote back out to the other dealers they are all telling me that the $26,000 quote is for the 2WD model. I see prices posted here as low as $25,500 for the AWD EX-L. Why the big difference? Is $27,000 the west coast price maybe? Anyone else in the area? What did you pay and where at?

is there is a huge price difference between east and west coast dealerships? i am in west coast - OR. we donot have sales tax here. so is this the reason? i am not able to get a lower price from any of the dealerships around OR/WA. thank you, sandy

My broker tells me that 2010 Dark Cherry 4WD Tourings are in very short supply on the West Coast (3 in CA, 1 in OR, and 1 in WA). He was able to find one in Oregon and get a firm price of $36750. He then used that to bargain down the exact same Pilot in WA -- he says its the only 2010 Dark Cherry 4WD Touring w/ NAV in WA -- to $36700 + accessories/lic/tax/fees. Not below invoice, but if what he says was correct, it's the best that could be done with the lack of inventory. I do notice a lot of EX-L's and EX's though.

FYI.....BOUGHT A 2009 HONDA PILOT EXL W/ RES (DVD) 4WD...OUT THE DOOR FOR $33,800 NEAR WEST PALM BEACH FLORIDA.....ED MORSE HONDA IN RIVIERA...CLIFF BERGER THE SALES PERSON WAS COURTEOUS ALONG WITH THE REST OF THE STAFF.....GOOD EXPERIENCE. WE FAXED/EMAILED EVERYONE AROUND THE STATE.....THEY WERE THE BEST LOCAL DEAL/COMPETETIVE....OTD....WAS THE CAR, SALES TAX, TAGS, ALL FEES FOR $33,800 .......WE KNEW ABOUT THE $1500 REBATE AND THE HOLDBACK...GUESSED/HEARD AROUND $700 TO $1000 ALONG WITH POSSIBLE END OF THE MONTH DEALER INCENTIVES....IE WE TOLD THE DEALERS WE'D BE IN THE LAST DAY OR SO BEFORE MONTHS END....GOT THE METALLIC GREY EXTERIOR /GREY INTERIOR 4 WD....HARD TO FIND IN FLORIDA .....VERY HAPPY WITH IT ALL.

And many returns !!!! We are scheduled to get a long time Honda dealer in the area, moving to the city I live in. One of the areas Toyota dealers completed this move BEFORE the downturn. However the latest economic situation MIGHT delay the move... OR... it could accelerate it.
