Buying a car from a Honda Car Dealer
I just purchased a 2011 dark cherry pearl EX-L w/o NAV or RES, including the all-weather package (floor mats, splash guards, and cargo tray, I think). I used a reputable car buying service so I could avoid the entire negotiation hassle, but I was hoping to get some feedback on the price I got from the service). I'm getting the car delivered to Portland, OR, from Bremerton, WA (about 150 miles distance). The dealer is having it driven down to Portland. The price was "gross cap cost" of $33,500 (which I was told was approx. $900 above invoice) There is an added $738 for the backup sensors I wanted installed as well as a $595 acquisition fee bringing the grand total to $34, 833. MSRP was $35, 230. Any opinions? Thanks!
Has anybody bought 2011 Honda CRV-SE in Portland, OR ? Will you pls let me know the out-of-door price and dealer name? Thanks.
Hi Folks I have been working on getting quotes from our local dealers here in Boise, ID along with a couple over in Portland, OR for a 2010 AWD CRV EX-L. They have all come in at a little over $27,000 for the car (no options). One dealer has quoted about $26,000. When I sent this quote back out to the other dealers they are all telling me that the $26,000 quote is for the 2WD model. I see prices posted here as low as $25,500 for the AWD EX-L. Why the big difference? Is $27,000 the west coast price maybe? Anyone else in the area? What did you pay and where at?
that sounds at least $1K too high. Here in Portland, OR, I was getting $21.5K already including any doc/destination fees. And then add TTL of around $350 for Oregon making it less than $22K out the door. This was without negotiation.
I just got a phone call from a Dealer in Portland, OR. He gave me a price of $300 over Invoice on a 2010 Accord Sdn. EX-L V-6 w/Nav, Invoice; $27,086 plus $300 for Selling price of $27,386. I am waiting for e-mail confirmation on this before we pull the trigger on this deal. Sounds mighty tempting!!!
