Buying a car from a Honda Car Dealer
I bought a Honda Fit in Hillsboro OR for $15300 (OTD price) today (manual, Tidewater blue, nothing extra). This included $80 to drive it here.
I'd personally wait for the new incentives to kick in. I can't imagine that they'd be less than what is currently available to the dealers. Unfortunately I haven't been looking at the EX 4WD to know whether $28,867 is good or not. MSRP difference between it and the 4WD EX-L is $3200, Invoice difference is $2892. So, given that I would expect that you could get the EX for decently below $28K... Especially since theworkz just got a 4WD EX-L for $29.9K in Hillsboro, OR (just across the stateline from you).
R, The total of all doc. fees is $218. Thanks again, Larry
Larry, You are most welcome. I also recently received similar quote from a Pendelton OR dealer. A question for you. How much Bob Thomas is asking for other fees (doc, registration etc.)? Thanks, -R
Thank you for the information on Bob Thomas Honda in Bend. They also quoted me $28,500 for the EX-L. After another dozen inquiries to dealers in Oregon, the second best quote was $29,800. I gave them a $500 deposit today and will pick up in a few days. I'm happy with this deal. Thanks again. Larry
