The OH dealerships have it pre-printed on their contracts like it's out of their control and they HAVE to collect it. :) Over the year's I've found it easier to just let them have it. As long as you recognize that it WILL be charged and factor it into your final offer you'll end up in the same place with less hassle.

The maximum allowed is now $250... Almost every dealer in the state will try to charge that....

Ohio doesn't have a doc fee. They do have a regulation that permits dealers to charge a doc fee, and it may have changed, but the last I heard it was a maximum of $200.

The $26,272 for for the vehicle only. Taxes & documentation fee's would add to this price. I will know this week if the dealership honors their internet price. Keep in mind the 2008 CR-V will be one yr old in the next 4-6 weeks. Need to consider depreciation, economy, inventory & most of all reputation of the dealership. I'd would settle for $25, 800 before taxes & doc fee's. I understand Boch has a high documentation fee, although I haven't yet notified them for a quote. Stay tuned.
