You take a little bit off and tell them the other one gave you this price and you want to see if they can beat it or something.( say take anout $200-$300 off the price above and see what they can do

Dealer price.: by dvldogav8r on Thu Sep 20 05:03:00 PDT 2007; I live in Jacksonville, NC and I just picked up my 2007 EXL-RES that I got for $28,300. There was a fight with the dealer to get this price, but it turns out there is a $2000 dealer rebate that they don't tell you about. Don't be afraid to call other dealers and get their prices and play them off one another, it worked great for me. When I got home and looked at my keys there is a dealer tag on one that listed the price of the car at $27,500. I bet you can get a good deal on '07 with the '08 due any day now. Watch out, the dealer kept telling me that it came with XM, but when I got home and went to set it up there was XM system in the car. Turns out that it only comes with the NAV system the others are just XM ready and I was told the system costs about $700. After talking to the sales manager, mad as hell, I am getting the XM for free.

Lowest price on 05 EX-L w/ RES in eastern NC?: by hdfenton on Tue Feb 08 09:20:02 PST 2005; I know what I want-05 EX-L w/ RES. Prefer silver pearl. We've gone to 3 area dealers (Coastal in New Bern, Lejeune in Jacksonville, and Parker in Morehead City) who all tell us they won't go any lower than $1000 under MSRP! I have been reading these posts and I know they can go lower. I am willing to drive to Raleigh or VA or SC to get my price. I'm willing to go $500 over invoice. But no one will even HEAR that around here! Any ideas? Suggestions? Thanks!
