Amazon Green

Chiming in on your redrock pearl post.... I was told that they are discontinuing Amazon Green on the Ridgeline this year which probably meant that they would do the same for the Pilot. Check out the color on a Pilot in person. It looks much better than the website. My purchasing notes are way above, but I bought the EX-L 4WD in Amazon Green for 29,700 plus delivery, tax, tag, title. Sticker on the car is $33,600 plus flaps and wheel locks bringing it to around $33,900. I bought it for $31500 out the door. I drive my Pilot on the mountain development I work for and it is gratifying to use the 4WD daily, in action, with clients on board enjoying the ride!
2006 Honda Pilot EX-L 4WD
by sternouf on Mon Mar 06 19:10:20 PST 2006
Hi folks, I just purchased a 2006 Honda Pilot EX-L 4WD for $29,700 plus all fees and taxes. I was told that the sticker price was pretty accurate and that I would be able to get some money off of it, but not thousands. I told the salesperson that I would be willing to pay the Carsdirect.com (my favorite website for pricing) price of $29,700 and that was it. I left my card and went for a quick bite. I came back and they met me half way between my price and the sticker. I explained that this is my price and that I'd like to buy the car from them and that it was nothing personal, but I'm sure someone would sell me the car for the Carsdirect.com price. The salesperson told me that she wouldn't get paid a fair commission and that she couldn't budge. I kindly offered my deal one more time and even told her that I'd give her a day to think about it before moving on to another dealer. All parties were friendly and I'd reccomend the dealer and the salesperson. I really wasn't looking to haggle and explained that I didn't have time to go dealer to dealer and low ball the price, which I'm sure I could have done and saved a little more. I spent maybe 30 minutes selecting the car, and maybe 30-40 minutes closing the deal because I paid cash. I just got Bank of America approval at 5.79 over 5 years, so I will finance it myself tomorrow. My overall tone was apologetic for having to offer the price that I did, but a deal is a deal and I know that we can get this done. Nice car! I chose amazon green with the olive leather. I heard they may discontinue the color which sounds nice because the car will look unique. I like the new boxiness of the 2006 model and I'm pretty sure I got a good deal for the limited amount of time and total lack of frustration during the purchasing. My out the door was $31,500 ish. I bought the mud flaps and wheel locks that were already installed. I work in a mountain development where there is plenty of mud, so the flaps will be well suited. I have to say that I was going to get the LX 4WD and have aftermarket leather installed for $1400, but the way that that the EX looks with the handles, mirrors, etc matching the body paint sold me. It looks much more luxurious, and the 6 disc changer with factory leather won me over. Good Luck and Good Hunting. Steve
My New Civic
by janamax on Thu Jul 29 07:22:53 PDT 2004
I leased my 2004 Honda Civic last night from Apple Tree Honda in Fletcher, NC. I HIGHLY recommend this dealership. No pressure, no games, no gimmicks, no guilt trips. They were completely straightforward from the get-go. I ended up with the Civic EX auto with side air bags (MSRP $18,800) for less than invoice ($17,000). Including all fees, registration, etc. the total came to $17,895. The money factor was extremely low, in my opinion (.00079) coming out to 1.9% and the residual was right at 53%. My monthly payment (including 3% sales tax) came out to $245. I am thrilled with my new car! Thank you for everyone on these boards who helped (whether or not you knew you were) in this process. This has been the easiest, most pain-free car buying experience I've ever had! Happy hunting! :)
