The best price I could find was 25,354 (Bronx Honda) in the NY area and I was quoted 25,710 (White Plains Honda and Tarrytown Honda) 26,052 (DCH Honda) and 25,495 from Yonkers Honda. However, I am doing a cash for clunkers deal and therefore was over a barrel and they knew it. I hope this deal will end up saving the consumers money because it's hard to get the best price when you must do the deal immediately.

2010 EX and EXL Invoice Prices: by schkathrob on Fri Jul 31 06:26:50 PDT 2009; I am new to these boards. An accident (no one hurt) earlier this week in our 11 yr old Dodge Grand Caravan has pushed us to replace the car. We were only going to keep it another year or two, anyway. So we're going to replace it now rather than putting any money into repairs. We would like to get a new 2009 EX, but they are in very short supply where we live - Westercher County NY. It is looking like we may have to buy a 2010. I can't find the invoice price anywhere. We got one online quote so far from Yonkers for $27,950. I don't know if that is a good price. Something else we're considering - if the C4C gets more funding really soon - is trading the old car in under the program for an EXL. The EX doesn't qualify with the mileage, but the EXL would because it is rated 20 mpg. It seems like it would be about a wash with the $3500 we would get back and the higher price for the EXL. Is that true? What I really need is the invoice price for the 2010 EX and EXL and some guidance on what would be a good price to pay for either one. Thanks so much for any feedback.

I was looking for a crv exl in Ct last month and the lease prices were vey high, when you could find a dealer who even had a exl for sale. The best price I got was from Yonkers Honda in Westchester. Wound up leaseing an Acura RDX for $440/month vs the $385/mo which was the best deal I could have gotton on an exl.

Make sure that you are working with the Internet Sales Dept. My recommendation is send an email to the dealer and ask them them to beat the best quote you have. Some dealers will tell you directly that they can not match or beat the price. If a dealer wants to make a sale they will either match or beat the price via email without you having to spend your time playing the "I have to talk my manager game". If the dealer asks you to come in first, tell him you will only come in if he sends you his best price in writing via email and he has already confirmed this price with his manager. 2007 EXL-RES: by irishkevin2 on Sat Apr 28 03:03:31 PDT 2007; Yonkers of Honda (NY - Westchester County) is offering me the 2007 EXL-RES for $29,199 plus $595 dealer prep and TTL. Has anyone been able to find a better price in our area? Let me know. We'll see how they do on the trade-on appraisal/qoute, but I think they have won our business. :)
