I got a quote on Civic LX coupe. Dealer in Utica, NY MSRP:19155 Selling price: 17982 which included all the paper work fee. RV 11,159 Monthly payment 249 tax included with 1000 down payment. I realize that it is quite expensive lease. What would be the reasonable price, which number should I negotiate with the dealer? Any advice would be appreciated. MF 0.00127 RF 61% I was told that the number 16480 is not realistic, is that true? Thank you in advance.

Just want to do my part as this forum helped immensely. I sent one round of emails asking for OTD quotes and within 24 hrs, here is what I received. Several dealers did not respond. My advice, move on. Some dealers noted that we had to take a car off the lot. ALL quotes exclude TT&L fees since these vary by state. If doc fees were given, I added those in. MSRP is $18395, Invoice $16984. - Buffalo NY dealers: $17184 - $18394 - Rochester NY dealers: $16884 (bought car from here - GREAT sales rep) - $17490 - Syracuse NY dealers: $17184 - $18395 - Utica NY dealers: $17485 - $17634 - Albany NY dealer: $17284 - Downstate NY dealer: $17264 - Boston MA dealer: $17083 - NJ dealer: $17244 (ended at $16784 to get our business) - VA dealer: $16961 - PA dealer: $17695 Hold back is 2%. I bought from Carbone in the Utica area. Paid $200 under invoice via Internet Manager. Best deal I was able to find in our area.

we got ours at Carbone Honda in Yorkville, which is just outside of Utica, NY. The entire staff was very good.

You could also try a bit further east than Syracuse also. My sister has had very good purchase/service experience with Honda in Oneonta, NY. The dealership's current name is Scoville-Meno Honda, Oneonta, NY 13820-2197. Curry Honda in Yorkville (between Syracuse and Utica) does do a large volume business, as they own a few dealerships, but I know they can be stubborn on negotiations from what I have heard in the past. Knowing that they are competing will help.
