After looking over a month for a Honda EX-L deal, I got an Acura TSX deal that was pretty much better than any Honda deal I got from about a dozen dealers in NY Metro Area. The deal I got is from DCH Heart Acura, just south of Poughkeepsie, NY. Same dealership where "xxhaimbondxx" got his deal. In fact, he tipped me. Thanks again! It was totally worth the 1.5 hour Metro North ride from Grand Central. Acura TSX. 39 month lease. 10K/year. 0 down (only first payment upfront and DMV). All taxes and fees rolled into monthly payments. $349 a month. I don't drive to work, so 10K is fine by me, but 12K/year would have been just marginally more expensive. The whole experience was a breeze. Everything was agreed upon on the phone/email. I just took Metro North this morning and the process (minus cofee chat, weather, business and life) took about 15 minutes. I'm very happy with my choice. The salesguy is just a pleasure to work with, compared to everyone else I had spoken to from about a dozen Honda dealeships I visited in February, who kept telling me how amazing their deals were -- such BS.

I think you did well. I'm 60 miles north of you in Dutchess County NY and last week my wife and I bought a 2009 V6 Sedan EX-L with Navigation, Silver with grey leather. Sticker was $31,425, car cost was $29,836 including destination. We traded a 2003 Acura TL-S sedan, Silver with Black Leather and Navigation, with 90,200 miles for $8,836, leaving a difference of $21,000. Tax is 8.25% here and is only on the difference. My TL was appraised as between $8,000 and 9,000 in July over in Real World trade in values, so the $8,836 may have been an overallowance since it's 2 months later. But with a trade, the only difference that matters is the difference, and I'm very happy with the deal. I bought from Friendly Honda in Poughkeepsie, NY. It's my third car from them and the buying experience and service department experience has always been excellent for me there. Hope this helps others.

'had a pleasant experience with the dealership and the sales person (Mr.Frank Buccione)...no hassles..no hidden costs like Admin or documentation fees..no lengthy discussions about Extended Warranty. BTW, while trying to extend insurance coverage from Geico for this new vehicle, I found that Geico has a unique feature "Mechanical Coverage"..which covers cost for repair/replacement of any mechanical failure...which is like an Extended Warranty. Hence decided not to take Extended Warranty.
